On Tuesday 6th April I phoned ATS at…
On Tuesday 6th April I phoned ATS at their Westhoughton branch intending to purchase a tyre for a spare steel wheel that I had acquired for my Fiat Ducato Camper Van. Not being 100 percent sure the steel wheel was the correct fit for my van I asked if they would take an existing wheel off the van and test if the steel spare wheel was the correct fit before fitting a tyre to it. I was advised "we are too busy to mess about with this, you are better off doing it yourself". Previously this branch was happy to fit 4 Michelin Cross Climate tyres to my car, but on this occasion not prepared to help even though what I asked them to do would require lass work than a normal tyre change as there was no tyre to remove. I for one will never use ATS again as they appear to have no concept of customer service.

Battery failed owing to cold weather. Called in, no appointment, staff very helpful and identified the correct one. Battery fitted and on my way in just over 30 minutes.
