I wanted to summarise my experience…

I wanted to summarise my experience since purchasing my Audi Q8 from Audi Shrewsbury, as it has unfortunately been very disappointing.
From the outset, I raised several issues that should have been addressed as part of the sale (central locking faults, scratches/marks, and trim defects). Despite multiple follow-ups, I received little to no proactive communication from Shrewsbury. Promises of call-backs were not honoured, the sales executive was fired after our sale and so I was emailing with no response…. and there has been no meaningful attempt to resolve my concerns.
Since purchase, I have had to escalate matters myself – booking the car into another Audi centre to investigate the central locking which will happen on October 16th and now dealing directly with Audi UK.
It is particularly frustrating that no one has taken ownership of the issues I reported, leaving me to manage everything independently. To add to this, I was told Neil Scutts over 7 days ago would contact me but he has since gone out of office until the 16th, again leaving me without resolution.
What should have been a premium buying experience for my wife has turned into ongoing inconvenience, frustration, and disappointment.
We end up Getting locked out of the car due to the central locking fault! I hope this will now be treated as a priority by senior management to bring matters to a proper resolution. I reentered the Audi brand after 3 years and feel right now it’s a terrible decision!!!!

I would appreciate a prompt response and a clear plan of action.

Audi doesn't remember it has clients

When I went to WestLondon Audi (Sytner Group) to buy an Audi A6 e-tron, I should have listened to the sales manager who repeatedly told me this very weird sentence: "Audi is good at designing cars, and not very good at everything else". Unfortunately he was true.
Indeed the car is absolutely fantastic (and the sales guy was ok too btw), but both Audi and Sytner have completely forgotten that they have customers and that they should take care of them. Instead, they are lost in their own absurd processes and bureaucracy.
Here is a sample of what happened to me in the last 5 months:
- the new car came not clean inside and with scratches on plastic trims
- when Sytner finally agreed to make the repairs for free, it took me hours to book a service slot over the phone, and when I arrived with the car, I was told that they needed the car for 2 or 3 days, which was impossible for me; 5 hours lost in the traffic
- My deposit was refunded only 2 weeks after the car delivery
- After 5 months I am still waiting to be refunded of an home EV charger I chose not to take when I ordered the car. Sytner has agreed in writing that it was a case mis-selling, as I have paid more than what they told me the car was going to cost me, but nothing is moving. I just see emails between Sytner and Audi UK which look like correpondence between 2 administrations in USSR in the 1980s

Audi Warrington

If I could give 0 stars believe me I would. Horrendous experience at Audi Warrington and Audi UK
Upon my retirement I Bought an Audi Q3 as a gift to myself too if the range with a 2 year warranty.
First of all a suspension issue after arguing with the garage the problem was sorted after 3 weeks under the warranty. A year in i became aware of a sunroof issue (a known Audi Q3 issue) totally refused to sort under the warranty and after two weeks agreed to go three ways to sort the issue at a personal cost if £1000 to myself.
My main issue is with customer service. Failure to return phone calls, failure to sort courtesy cars.
Never again. Avoid at all costs.

We spent over 30k on an electric 4x4 car from Aberdeen Audi, in 19 months the car has totally broken and is unable to be fixed, we have been charged thousands for them to attempt to fix it with no resolution. The service has been horrendous. Strongly recommend investing your money elsewhere

Audi just can't be bothered

Bought an Audi Q4 eTron Vorspung from Audi Preston. Was sold a top of the range model. Very very disappointed with after sales and general attitude of the dealership. The car itself had mechanical seats, not very top of the range, the range is rubbish, even worse in winter. The salesmen who sold me the car promised me the earth of I needed anything. Once I got the car home, tried to contact him twice with no response. I've been into the dealership a few times since, underwhelmed with the lack of any attention. The straw that broke the camels back was driving to the dealership and for the second time in 18 months, the key fob battery was dead. I had put in a replacement but the fob still wouldn't work. I arrived at 12.30 on a Saturday. Parts were supposed to be open till 1. I was told parts were closed, they couldn't help, go and try Halfords and that was it. I explained I couldn't lock my car and didn't know if I had changed the battery properly. Was told, sorry, nobody can help you, we don't have any spare batteries. I walked across to the Mercedes dealership. Like light and day. Even though I had an Audi they went out of their way to help me. A salesman named Chris spent 20 minutes checking, found a spare battery, fitted it, paired it to my car and fixed it. Handed me the key with a big smile, and didn't want anything for his trouble. Shame on you Audi.

I had the displeasure of dealing with…

I had the displeasure of dealing with Stafford Audi recently. I was in the process of buying a car through them having had the finance also agreed through them however, they were applying pressure to sign the finance agreement and tried to coerce me into signing the agreement by threatening that if i didn't sign the agreement by 2pm on Friday 26th September 2025, they would cancel the deal. They wanted to meet their quarterly targets however, i wasn't prepared to sign an agreement for such a large sum of money without first reading the terms and conditions of the agreement. Suffice to say, i am no longer buying the car.

I purchased a 2021 A6 Sline

I purchased a 2021 A6 Sline
I had it for 2 days and the check engine light came on. Brought it back to the dealership
they ran diagnostics and it said it was the water pump.
they fixed the water pump and I get the car back 38 days later. I drove the car for 7 days more and a clicking sound came from the motor. Took the car to the Audi dealer and they say the motor is blown. Recall came out August 18th for piston sleeve to be replaced which obviously caused the water pump to go and never fixed the piston sleeve.
We put a claim in and they feel they are not liable.
Got it. I will never buy another Audi. I will be getting a lawyer and I will fight this to the end even if it bankrupts me on mere principle.

Will NEVER buy a car from them again - Absolutely Shocking Customer Service Experience!

I purchased a brand new Q5 in 2023 from HALESOWEN AUDI. I recently received a letter to inform me of a safety recall almost 2 years after purchasing the car asking me to bring this in for checks taking a hour an a half or more. With travel there/back at a cost to me and time from work lost I would need to book annula leave for this. I contacted HALESOWEN AUDI via email to explain and to ask how I would be compensated for the inconvenience, fuel costs (as we live rural and not close to a dealership) and time lost from work, after 2 IGNORED emails I called HALESOWEN, only to be dismissed and passed around to different departments finally landing with AUDI UK. Who told me there was nothing they were willing to do, that at a financial cost and time cost to myself I would have to bring the car in. I explained that I had paid a lot for the car and I that it was unfair that they supplied it with faulty parts and now I was going to be put out. I suggested perhaps they could carry out my almost due pil change free of charge to make the trip worth it and as a good will gesture. Very dismissive about the whole situation yet their on hold voice over states they thrive for exception customer service, if I could give ZERO stars I would. After 3 new car purchases from Audi since 2018, plus my husband also purchasing, We will NEVER BUY a car from them again.

My wife and I had a horrible experience…

My wife and I had a horrible experience with audi. To be honest, I would like to advise you to be careful; we lost over £7,000. When I received the contract, the salesperson offered us tire insurance, which we declined. Somehow, he signed us up for it anyway, and we kept the signature as proof. Be careful when you sign a contract; check your signatures. I don’t want you to go through all the stress we experienced, audi don’t look after the customers what so ever, after you left the shop it’s all on you, audi don’t care about it.

In April 2025, we decided to change our Audi A5 2019 for a new version. After a lot of stress with one of the Audi staff, we decided to go with the Audi A5 2024. After two months, the car started showing system problems. The reverse camera stopped working, so I took it back to Audi Finchley for them to look at it. They reset the car’s system, and the camera started working again. However, after three weeks, another problem arose with the car's system: steering fault, brake fault, rear seat fault. The car has been back to the Audi garage four times for repairs. After the fourth visit, they said the car has a system problem from the manufacturer. They offered a new car replacement, but they charged us for the mileage we had used, even though the problem wasn’t caused by us; it was a manufacturer issue.

We accepted this and took a new Audi A5 2025. Three months after driving the car, the same problems started again. I contacted Audi and took the car to Finchley garage. The camera problem was fixed, but they told me that if any other issues occurred, it wasn’t necessary for me to bring the car back to them because they could not fix it; it was a manufacturer problem. Last week, I experienced multiple system faults at the same time while driving home. I received a red warning light indicating that the engine was overheating. Smoke came out, so I stopped the car, and the AA came to rescue me. I sent the car back to Audi, and now they want to charge me over £4,000 for mileage. They don’t consider the five months of payments I made on the car, along with the £10,500 deposit and the £2,600 I have paid. They want to give me back £5,000 if I want to withdraw.

I will leave this review for you to think about before buying any new Audi. We are about to lose over £7,000 for driving a problematic car for five months. Before buying any 2025 Audi, look for reviews; these cars are problematic. Also, check reviews for Audi Finchley Road; their customer service is horrible. They’re not worth it, if you have a chance go another brand, I don’t recommend Audi what so ever, our problem has been resolved, audi toke from us 8000£ from mileage, from 14.6k e pay they give it back 6.2k

Wimbledon Audi Service Centre has been…

Wimbledon Audi Service Centre has been a complete disaster. My car has been with them since July 2025 — it’s now nearly October and still not repaired or properly diagnosed. They replaced the instrument cluster (which didn’t fix anything) and now claim they’re waiting for a tool from Germany with no ETA.

Because of their delays and incompetence, I’ve lost a buyer, my car has depreciated in value, and my warranty is about to expire. Completely unacceptable — avoid Wimbledon Audi at all costs.

Never again

Purchased our 6th new Audi in 2022. They’re not what they used to be. We’ve had various minor issues with previous cars but this one has been a nightmare. Issues with it flagging an electrical fault and battery not charging, which they couldn’t book us in for a diagnostic slot for 2 months, despite it still being under warranty - so, after being taken in to local Audi garage by the AA, they had it for a week, driving it round every day but still no fix. We’ve had the problem flag up since but 🤷‍♀️ However, our biggest bug bear is that we paid a lot of money for a car with a big tech pack but it seems - and we were never told this - that the licence expires after 3 years unless you pay an annual subscription so now we have a car that cost an arm and a leg and has a very very basic tech pack on it. Disgusted with you, Audi, Never again.

Avoid Vindis Bedford Audi

Avoid this dealership

Purchased an Audi Q3 in August 2024, in for repairs for over 3 months March 2025 - June 2025. They incorrectly replaced the clutch then tried to use that as part of the ‘goodwill gesture’ at the end. Also needed a new gearbox and top mounts. I was sold the car with these issues as noises were apparent from point of sale which progressively got worse. I was told a service was completed prior to sale in which we have now had confirmation it was last completed the year before.

The appalling communication and customer service is why I’m writing this review. I have never received service like it and unfortunately the entire dealership has been extremely let down by certain individuals (specifically the front of house manager). Complete lack of understanding, empathy and we were made to feel like we were the problem rather than the car. Ignored on several occasions with us constantly having to chase. To this day my last 4 emails have been ignored.

After ongoing issues and problems they gave us a goodwill oil service in which my oil light came on the following week and the driver managed to obtain a speeding ticket in my car on his way to its service. Therefore the car had to be returned as the oil was not changed and they cannot provide proof it had been (I have requested this form over 10 times and still not received it).

Thankfully senior management from Northampton Audi managed to arrange a resolution to this horrendous experience.

After owning 5 Audi’s so far, we will never be purchasing an Audi from Bedford again.

Do not buy an electric car from Audi

Do not buy an electric car from Audi,
the Q4 is a disaster, a temperamental battery that only charges when it wants, and on a good day will only achieve 75% of the advertised range and on a bad day much less.
I am handing back my lease and getting a different car. Audi customer service is appalling.
