Honestly best service I have had in a while. They are prompt with replies and we’re extremely helpful. I won’t buy audio from anywhere else. A+++++++

Apparently the definition of a one star review includes the terms unacceptable, unreasonable and RUDE......which somewhat sums up my eBay experience with this company. I messaged “David” with what I thought were reasonable questions about preamps, amps etc before finally, after lots of research, committing to buy a £1000 Cyrus hifi seperate. His first reply was polite, if condescending, and he tried to steer me towards the all-in-one Cyrus lyric instead. He obviously decided that I couldn’t possibly afford to invest in the products I was asking about,neither could I appreciate the difference between a quality hi-fi and slightly naffer version, despite my specificity. My follow up question asked for his own opinion of the various preamps that Cyrus produce. His response was so patronising and offensive I was completely stunned for many minutes.
‘ All Cyrus preamps require a power amp to go with them, which means a spend of at least £2000 before you add on cd/tuner/turntable.”
I had not even mentioned what budget I’m working to, or the prices of any products.
‘ if you don’t want to commit to that sort of budget you should look at something like the Lyric”
I’d already told him that I’d dismissed this
‘ Above all else you need to actually talk to someone who can help you, that’s why specialist dealers exist.”
I apologised for mistakenly assuming that I was actually ‘speaking’ with a specialist dealer in Creative-Audio.
Still a little stunned at exactly how offensive his whole tone was, I’ve never felt quite so patronised (not even at the garage when my car breaks down).

Bought an Arcam Reciever as an open box after a telephone conversation and it arrived quickly and exactly as described and at a great price. Had a follow up to make sure I was happy. Very good service thank you.

Excellent service. It’s good to know that there are still shops out there with experienced staff with an obvious passion for what they do. They spent a good deal of time helping me to decide how to re engage with my teenage music loving self and after much deliberation and smiles all round , I left a very happy aged man with shiny Naim Uniti Atom. When pennies are saved I will need new speakers and I know where i will be going for them. First class.

I recently purchased a Cyrus One amplifier that necessitated speaking to Audio Express about the product before purchase, they couldn’t have been more helpful and I promptly placed an order on line. The item arrived the following day and the tracking process enabled me to go about my daily business an be home for the delivery slot when it arrived on time. The following day I encountered a slight technical issue, caused by my own ineptitude, and emailed them they promptly phoned me and the issue was resolved.
I am very impressed with the courtesy and service offered by Audio Express and have no hesitation in recommending them they have certainly restored my faith in online trading!
