Audley Travel - USA Reviews 

We just completed a 12-day Scandinavian tour and Aislyn Emerson at Audley Travel was fantastic to work with in planning, booking and support while traveling. I highly recommend calling her if you are interested in visiting that beautiful area of Europe.

We just recently came back from 12 amazing days in italy. Audley travel and Sarah Quigley did an extraordinary job planning and communicating with us throughout the planning, traveling and follow up. When I first began to plan our trip I was unsure of where to go in italy. I reached out to many travel companies but chose Audley for their personal individualized approach.

Our experience with Audley Travel was excellent. Their European travel partners also provided personalized and attentive service. Samantha was especially terrific to work with. She understood our quirky requests and made arrangements for planes, trains, cars, and transfers that more than met our expectations. Her suggestions for excursions and tours were excellent and immeasurably enhanced our overall experiences in France, Switzerland and Italy. When we fell ill with a cold/flu bug she was especially helpful and even sent us a care package of lozenges and herbal tea.

Four of us 1969 Tuy Hoa vets decided to return to our old air base and its environs and then to revisit places we’d seen only briefly during the war, and then to tour some of “North” Viet Nam. The question was whether to do it on our own or sign on with a travel agency. We concluded that doing it ourselves was possible (we’d been there before after all) and that it would be relatively inexpensive.
However, we might run a lot of risks, small and large: coordinating all the stops and hotels, eateries, ground transportation; all the air connections; not to mention, our visas. Even a small misstep by any one of us could hamper our tour; a larger one could ruin the trip for all of us. We opted for professional help. And among the professionals, Audley Travel (with a lot of input from Meghan Berger) was the agency that topped our list. After weeks of massaging our trip --- changing places and lengths of stays as we four debated priorities --- Meghan put together a package that gave us exactly what we (ultimately) chose.
She provided excellent air service from LAX to Saigon, handled all our air and ground transportation throughout Viet Nam, booked some awesome hotels for us, provided knowledgeable, local guides and responsible drivers, and even helped us go on to Cambodia and Thailand afterwards. The trip was fantastic! We got “a lot of bang for our buck.”
The professionalism displayed by Meghan and her local “crew” was impressive. They were all friendly, helpful and informative; and they kept us on schedule, whether preparing for our journey or while we were there in Viet Nam.
If I were to return to Viet Nam next year, would I travel with Audley? Maybe not, because I already learned so much from traveling with them this time. But if I were traveling anywhere else over there, somewhere I’d never been before, or traveling again with a group, yes, absolutely, yes!

This was our 3rd trip with Audley Travel experiencing multiple countries on 2 continents. We keep coming back due to the consistency of quality and reliability in every aspect of our travels. We appreciate the care and attention provided by the specialists, guides and drivers to ensure we have the best experience possible. When planning our most recent trip Sebastian made the process so enjoyable. His insights and suggestions made our time in Paris even more special!

Our trip was to London and then on to Ireland. Lily Cohen, Audley's UK specialist, spent time talking with us and getting to know us and what our dreams were for this trip. She designed a trip specifically for us, and we were 'over the moon' with her results! Every day was perfect, and we wouldn't go back and change a thing.

Audley was recommended to me by a friend after his positive experience planning a New Zealand. We asked our Specialist to provide options for Italy for a wine region, historical city, and sandy beaches for a trip within the next 3 months, and they delivered! We just got back and it exceeded our lofty expectations. I couldn't imagine coordinating the hotels, day trips, and car service without Audley. We only had a few minor issues and it was resolved within an hour. In my opinion, it's worth the extra money for Audley to coordinate a trip that you couldn't plan on your own. We will use them again.

We had used Audley for planning help with a trip before and decided to use them again for our recent trip to Italy. We were extremely happy with our experience. Our advisor, Andria, helped us plan a trip that was enjoyable and memorable. She was knowledgeable regarding our travel area and offered insights and suggestions that were quite useful. All in all, she was instrumental in providing us with a great travel experience.

We booked our honeymoon to French Polynesia through Audley, and Anthony V was incredibly helpful with the planning. He took care of everything, resorts, inter-island flights, and timing. He quickly addressed any issues that came up while we were traveling.

We were a little unsure about using a travel agent at first, but given the complexity of this trip, we’re so glad we did. We’d absolutely recommend Audley.

We had an AMAZING trip to Greece and it was all because of the wonderful service we had with Audley Travel. My mom, sister and I traveled to Greece for 2 weeks. For reference we are all 56 or older. We had private tour guides for all of our excursions, private cars and drivers (THE BEST!!) and lovely hotels. Our tour guides were so knowledgeable and friendly to us. We were in Athens for 4 days, Nafplio for 4 days, Chania (on Crete) for 4 days and then back to Athens airport for the night before our fight home. We went kayaking, sailing, explored ruins, castles, and the loveliest towns and neighborhoods. We even had a private cooking experience in a lovely home! All of the food we had was out of this world and the Greek wines were delicious. We had to buy 2!! extra suitcases to get home because of all of the wonderful shopping we did. We were recommended to Audley Travel by a friend and we are so happy for it. None of us have ever traveled on a trip that has been curated by a travel agent before. This trip was very bougie and a once in a lifetime style of travel for us. Thank you Jeffrey and Audley Travel!!!

We have used Audley for several previous trips, and this time, like before, we ended up with a wonderful trip. All of our drivers and guides and all of the activities personalized for us were perfect and well matched to what Audley knows about us from earlier trips and what our consultant there this time, Lily Cohen, got from listening well in our initial conversations. Audley is relatively pricey, but you get what you pay for - a seamless and personalized trip where every detail is wonderful. If you are clear about what you want from an adventure, they are great at making it happen and at adding things you would have asked for if you knew they existed.

Working with Audley Travel and my travel specialist, Stephanie Mailhot, was an amazing experience. I booked Audley to create an amazing birthday trip for me and my 2 friends and the entire process was so professional. They made everything easy and truly created an amazing itinerary and overall experience. Even though I had to cancel my trip due to personal reasons, the care that the Audley team took to create the experience and answer my questions has been 5 star from beginning to end.

I’ve recently returned from spending time in northern Spain and was extremely pleased with the planning support I received from Riley at Audley. The entire process from talking about what my hopes were for my trip to the final planning details Riley was attentive and made helpful suggestions. We chose Audley over other travel agents to arrange a schedule of a 3 city trip in North America and they didn’t disappoint. Before I share my experience I’d like everyone to know that I had never used a travel agency for personal travel. I thought it would be too costly and a waste of time (because I love to do research). But, with that said, I was wrong.
My wife and I wanted to go to Italy so I Googled locations and things we’d like to see and do. During my Google searches, Audley popped up. I clicked on their sight and they described the exact vacation we were looking for, so I made an online appointment.
We spoke to Matt Greenbaum. Matt asked us questions about what we liked, didn’t like, cost, excursions and other necessary items. After the discussion we set up another meeting the following week.
In my professional career, I was involved with adapting behavioral science to improve business skills. One of the skills that successful business leaders have are listening skills. I mention this because Matt did a tremendous job listening, and then putting together a memory for my wife and me. Our Italy experience is the kind of memory that will make us smile for many years.

We traveled in Ireland by private car for two weeks. Each town was more beautiful than the last and all our drivers and guides were informative and interesting to talk to. The landscape were unbelievable to see and the rock walls were amazing. Our hotels and BandB were a treat too . Lily put together a perfect trip for us and we look forward to using Audley service again

From the start of organizing a trip for us Jack was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and always paid attention to our input, budget and concerns. When the trip neared we got a summary binder with all details. Even though we booked our own international flights Jack helped us coordinate the times. Our trip was executed flawlessly and we enjoyed our Borneo trip,never missing any important venue. From drivers to guides to lodging we got a 5 star service all for a price that was comparable to a group tour without the dysfunctional aspect of a group. In summary, Jack is an expert in SE Asia but also someone who pays attention to every detail to assure a memorable vacation like ours Very highly recommend Jack and Audley!!!

Adam made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic 2 week adventure in Japan!
