I took my Mercedes to this garage for an AdBlue reset issue.
I was charged for a “short diagnostic” and then told the problem could not be reset and that I needed to pay around £600 for a NOx sensor replacement while I had asked them to reset Adblue countdown activating.
After questioning this and insisting on the correct SCR teach-in procedure, the garage eventually carried out SCR teach-in using Xentry. The procedure completed successfully and the AdBlue system is now working normally, showing full level and a long driving range.

This shows that the expensive sensor replacement was suggested prematurely, without completing the required procedure first.
I found the communication misleading and the focus more on upselling than proper diagnosis. I would strongly advise others to request written confirmation of SCR teach-in or reset before agreeing to costly repairs.
