A very bad surprise!!
Upon arrival at Miami airport, THRIFTY, AUTOESCAPE's local partner, refused to honor our voucher, because the principal driver had an american driver's license, and not a foreign one. They didn't allow us to switch the principle driver to another present with a foreign licence, or change the crefit card owner accordingly, nor change any terms in the contracted voucher to accomodate us. When we called AUTOESCAPE the next day (as they were closed at the time, for time difference) they refused to change any term of the voucher either, under pretext that the contract had already started!!
The website was not clear on the fact that the principle driver and the credit card payer had to be the same person! We may have made a mistake but AUTOESCAPE refused to switch any terms on the original contract, nor return the funds already charged!! So that we had to rent a car from another company alltogether, and lose the entirety of our moneys.
I will now report AUTOESCAPE to different agencies, including Better Business Bureau, so that no one else is fooled by what is in fact a SCAM!! How can AUTOESCAPE feel it is right to charge its customers for services it refused to render????

Mobile booking didn't work
I've booked a car from my mobile (Firefox on Galaxy S9). The payment worked but I didn't receive the email confirmation. So an hour later I called customer service, who said there was no booking and I would not be charged. So I booked again from my laptop, everything worked fine, and then on the last page I see my 2 bookings! I have called customer service again, and a helpful guy cancelled the 1st booking in minutes. So in the end it was fine, but it took me 2 hours and I almost got charged twice. Guys, please fix your mobile booking!
