Using Autotrader you cut out the middle men dealers such that you get the profit they were going to make out of you, plus your buyer gets a good deal. It does take more ‘effort’ to develop a good advert, however, take advice from “CarVeto" on how best to construct your advert to optimise reach, interest, and potential buyers.

It was really easy to set-up the ad. Simple and secure messaging with potential buyers. Sold in less than a week.

It was very easy to place an advert, edit and track progress. Email and mobile communication also worked very well.

I’m not a technical person. But the guidance and help was easy to follow and when I did make a mistake or I forgot to add something , it prompted me to add and adjust. Awesome

Auto trader is really simple to use, it got lots of interest and was reasonably priced, really happy with the results, thank you.

Help with constructing the ad was great. I had 5 calls within an hour of the ad going live and the the car was sold and picked up the next day all within 24 hours of posting the ad. My buyer travelled for 4.5 hours by train to pick up the car. I not sure anywhere can sell a private sale any quicker. Well done Autotrader.

I had a lot lot less calls then gumtree but the all the calls I did receive were genuine .

The website is easy to use with good explanation and guidance.

I previously had a lot of trust in Autotrader UK.
That was until my most recent purchase.
I had no idea Autotrader UK would allow traders to falsely advertising cars after they have sent the cars full information to the trader. False advertising is against the 2015 Consumer Rights Act. I told them that ZOOM AUTOS LONDON, had falsely advertised features on the car I bought. The upshot is, (as per emails received), Autotrader UK sends e.g. ZOOM AUTOS LONDON what features a car has going by the cars registration number. ZOOM AUTOS LONDON for instance, is then allowed to dramatically scale up the spec a car has!!! Autotrader UK should be held accountable for this. I will be sending the emails to trading standards to get their opinion.
