So I’m a private seller
So I’m a private seller, not even used their site to sell for 4 years, yet their algorithms appear to have identified me as a trade seller. This required me to have to send V5 docs, driving licence before being able to add a listing. Issues are with this, it took 7 days to hear back from them to advise they were happy to allow me to list privately, giving me 48 hours to list, when I was out of the country. Then when I wanted to renew the same advert, the documents were requested again, requiring a 30 min phone call after holding, to tell them they already had my documents. I advised them on the phone I’m a private seller and the experience in which I’m expected to jump through hoops, due to their clearly faulty algorithm isn’t the experience a customer should have to go through. Apparently despite my confirming, they aren’t able to change anything effectively calling me a liar. A real shame, as they appear very dismissive to the customer journey they are putting people through.
