They gave EasyJet more time which is fair enough only the extra time expired on the 7th of September and all communication seems to have stopped since then, no updates nothing. The website is shockingly basic for what it is needed for. I can’t even see a way to contact them.

AviationADR handled my complaint against Wizz Air after a cancelled booking. The refund had been removed from my Wizz account and never reached my bank. The adjudicator upheld the claim and ordered a cash payment, and the airline then paid the award. The portal updates were clear, and the process did what it was supposed to do.

They rejected my complaint after months of doing nothing, claiming I hadn't provided proof of my residential address (!), my bank account details (why would you need that if you didn't even try to resolve the complaint?), and a whole stack of other documents. Yet, there isn't a SINGLE WORD about these requirements anywhere on their website. They didn't even give me a chance to rectify the issue; they simply closed the case, having wasted my time. Why should I hand over all that paperwork when I could just go straight to court?
I believe their adjudicators are completely incompetent, and I am already drafting complaints to higher authorities to have them removed. They lack the necessary qualifications and were hired through family connections - entire families work there.

EasyJet refused to pay me the regulatory compensation that I was entitled to after failing to inform me that the departure time had been brought forward by 2 hours. They did refund the rescue charge and because we arrived at our destination more than 3 hours later I thought that it would be a straightforward process to claim compensation. After several emails from them refusing to pay they finally referred me to Aviation ADR. I submitted my claim to them by the end of June and easyJet ended up paying the compensation that I was entitled to by the end of September. EasyJet ended up paying the amount I was entitled to, pity they didn’t do that in the first place. They probably point blank refused to pay in the gamble that I wouldn’t take it any further. Well done to Aviation ADR for making my claim a success.

Amazing service from AviationADR. This was the first time I received an adjudication decision in under three months—in fact, it arrived within just two months. I hope they continue providing such an efficient service. It was a pleasure entrusting them with my claim. Thank you!

Easyjet refused my claim for a flight delay, used AviationADR & Easyjet paid for the delayed flight.

I am confused and dumfounded by the adjudicator decision. Hard fact and evidence based – the airline admitted fault and yet this wasn’t enough.
I believe the service provided by CDRL is not for the consumer but the airline in this case.

Fantastic free service! We managed to claim money back from Ryanair, which was completely unexpected. Very happy with the outcome. Thank you and highly recommend you to give it a try!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Service Like No Other
I cannot thank AviationADR enough for the help they provided with my claim against Ryanair.
Our flight left us stranded at Tirana Airport for hours throughout the night, with constant changes and confusion. While there was a mixture of poor weather and what I believe was poor airline management, Ryanair refused my claim outright, which I found unbelievable given the circumstances.
I decided to take my case to AviationADR, and from start to finish the process was smooth, professional, and easy to follow. They carefully reviewed the evidence, handled the case fairly, and ultimately reached a determination that resulted in compensation being awarded.
If you've had a claim rejected by an airline and feel you've been treated unfairly, I would highly recommend AviationADR. Their service was efficient, impartial, and effective. Thank you very much for helping me achieve a positive outcome.
5 stars. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When an airline (Wizz Air) uses predatory practices, dark patterns, and unlawfully prevents you from canceling a digital subscription, AviationADR proves to be absolutely useless.
After three months of wasted time, submitting clear evidence, and waiting for actual arbitration, they simply shut the case down with a cop-out excuse: "out of scope." The second an airline throws in a technicality, AviationADR immediately folds, washes their hands of the matter, and abdicates their duty to protect consumers from blatant exploitation.
Zero substantive explanation, zero real resolution, zero help. This organization is nothing more than a bureaucratic shell that creates a false illusion of consumer protection while capitulating at the first excuse provided by the carrier. If you fall victim to a subscription trap or digital charge dispute, do not waste a single second on these amateurs — report it straight to the ICO, CMA, and Trading Standards.
Rating: 1/5. Absolute incompetence.

Easyjet refuted my delay claim, twice. ADR was successful in securing my full compensation.
Easyjet should be penalised for lying to customers about their eligibility.

Took over 3 months but eventually got the right result in my claim against EasyJet after a delayed flight in May 2026. Having been refused by EasyJet initially the adjudicator found in our favour. This aspect happened well within the timeframe laid out. Getting EasyJet to actually pay took twice as long as it should have. However we wouldn’t have achieved this outcome without this service. The website and “dashboard “ is not easy to follow, and having to refer to the “communication” tab which starts at the oldest not most recent is frustrating. All happy with the outcome though!!

The ADR process itself was handled professionally and efficiently. The team was responsive, the portal was clear, and the adjudicator's reasoning was thorough and fair.
However, I am disappointed with the practical limitations of the outcome. My primary request was to be rebooked on alternative flights to dates of my choosing, as is my right under Article 8(1)(b) of EC Regulation 261/2004. Instead, the only enforceable remedy available was a cash refund — which Wizz Air had already offered us at the outset, before we even opened a case.
The fundamental problem is that Aviation ADR, as a body, lacks the teeth to enforce rebooking. An airline can simply refuse to rebook a passenger, knowing that the worst outcome from ADR will be a refund they were prepared to offer anyway. This creates a system where airlines have no real incentive to comply with their rebooking obligations under the Regulation.
I would strongly suggest that Aviation ADR advocates with the CAA for stronger enforcement powers, particularly around Article 8(1)(b) rebooking rights. Without this, the right to rebooking exists on paper but is effectively unenforceable in practice.
I went through months of a formal dispute process and ended up with the same outcome I could have accepted on day one. That is not a reflection on the ADR team's work — but it is a reflection on the limits of the system they operate within.

After spending 7 months getting the runaround from WizzAir on a claim for payment on a delayed flight (even though other half claim was resolved within 4 weeks), contacted AviationADR. Really easy to use on line portal. Just uploaded all the communication onto their portal had confirmation that they would take things from there. 28 days later compensation now in the back. Thank you.

I used Aviation ADR after a dispute with Wizz Air regarding a WIZZ Discount Club Premium membership. I had paid for the Premium membership, but it was not properly applied to my account and I was unable to use the benefits I had paid for. Despite raising the matter directly with Wizz Air and providing evidence of the purchase, the issue was not resolved.
There was an administrative issue earlier in the Aviation ADR process, but once this was corrected the case was properly reviewed. The adjudicator considered the evidence from both sides and concluded that I had paid for the Premium membership and that the service had not been supplied. Wizz Air was directed to reimburse me in full, which has now been received.
The process took some time, but ultimately Aviation ADR provided the independent review that was needed when dealing directly with the airline had failed. I am pleased with the final outcome and would use the service again if necessary.

Review case for a Ryanair delay and their duty of care requirements

Using AviationADR I was able to successfully claim for flight delay compensation from ryanair who initially denied the claim. The process was straightforward and I was updated throughout, with the claim reviewer providing a thorough summary once the evidence had been reviewed. Received payment today - very pleased with the outcome.

Case handler agreed that Wizz Air should reimburse the EasyJet flights I had to book after Wizz Air cancelled my flight. But they rejected my additional travel expenses incurred on the basis that "no receipts or other documentary evidence" had been provided. This was factually incorrect.
I had uploaded fully itemised official PDF receipts. When I pointed this out at the first opportunity, I was told it was too late because the decision had already been made. I do not understand how a clear factual error in a determination cannot be corrected when the evidence was properly submitted and remains visible on the portal.
There was also a separate issue concerning the £330 original Wizz Air booking. I submitted an email from a Wizz Air customer service representative explicitly confirming in writing that Wizz Air would reimburse both the replacement EasyJet flights and the original Wizz Air booking. Despite this, the adjudicator decided that reimbursing both would amount to ‘double recovery’.. It is not CDRL's role to decide that an undertaking voluntarily made by the airline was more generous than necessary and therefore should not be honoured.
Unlike, for example, London Tribunals or the Financial Ombudsman, there is no face-to-face or oral hearing where you can explain your case. Where decisions are made entirely from written submissions, it is particularly important that all of the evidence is properly considered.
The combination of having no hearing, no right of appeal, and then being told it is too late to correct a factual error once the determination has been issued leaves a passenger with no meaningful way of dealing with evidence that has simply been overlooked.
Unprofessional and not good enough. Simple as that. Avoid.

KLM lost our baggage on a flight from Amsterdam to Chicago in January 2026. On our return we submitted a claim for reimbursement of necessary expenses. KLM proved very difficult to deal with, going as far as deeming the issue resolved when they transferred less than half of the total we had claimed into our bank! After going through all the necessary processes with KLM, we submitted a complaint to Aviation ADR. The process was very easy, especially when uploading receipts (the KLM process for this is a nightmare!) The only hiccup was that the Aviation ADR system seemed to lose the data we had submitted, so we had to resubmit the claim. Thereafter things seemed to move smoothly, and KLM eventually agreed to pay the balance of our claim. Thank you to Aviation ADR, and we would recommend their services if you have a problem with your airline operator.
