Do not waste your money on AVS4YOU. The licence is linked to the computer, not the user/purchaser. So if you upgrade or have a computer damaged or stolen, you will have to buy a new licence for the new computer. Absolutely ridiculous licence condition.

I paid for my AVS4You software but it's not very self-explanatory for the user. Initially I am having a huge problem uploading my video through the Video Converter? It keeps saying "ERROR" in the top left corner and "FILE DOES NOT EXIST" in the body upload area.

Really unfortunate that this software suite is not also offered on MacOS system

Disappointing software with terrible tech support. The program crashed numerous times and the tech support was not timely in responding and them had the same answer, uninstall and reinstall the program.... to no avail. I would not recommend.

I have enjoyed the unlimited for over 10 years, regardless what "the User Agreement" states now, when I first purchased the "Unlimited", nowhere was it printed that in the event the computer you have your "unlimited" AVS programs on breaks down or fails, you must purchase another "unlimited" license for the replacement desktop or laptop.
Rip off, Unlimited does not mean for the life of the user, it means to the company, life of that one singular computer it is installed on. There are quite a few more updated programs that have a true unlimited and the license is to the user, not that particular hard drive which means it can be installed on a new hard drive in the event the old one dies etc.

I agree with all the others who thought that The word "Unlimited" meant just that! But not to AVS4YOU who have RETRO inserted a clause into the T & Cs to say that UNLIMITED means 1 physical computer only for 1 year only.
Even if the clause redefining the word "unlimited" was in the T&Cs it would be overridden by the name of the product "UNLIMITED"
I definitely don't recommend these people.

For the past years everything has been great.
I had a problem with distortions - I realized it is essential to set the right grafic card 🙂
Now the new version are working great.

I've had this software for at least 10 years... It is efficient. It is fantastically accurate. I edit sound/ audio files. I edit video. I have used their document converter. Everything in this package for the lifetime price is more than well worth it and every time I get a new computer I buy a new license. I love the fact that none of it is à la carte. You get it all! Transitions editing perks... everything. And every time they update that I get free. I love the fact that I can update all of my programs using their update manager all at the same time and then hit the ground running. I love AVS4you... The date of this review may be this January, but I should have written it at least 10 years ago! I recommend this to everyone ...It does everything that the pro software companies claim to do at a fraction of the price.

Perfect for little jobs and bits and pieces. Never let me down, does what it is supposed to do.

I have been using AVS4YOU for many many years and have successfully moved from machine to machine as they have gone to the computer graveyard. Just purchased a new machine as old one died and am now expected to buy a new licence. They state the the licence has not changed, they are liars, have just become money grabbers and use a bog standard excuse for terrible customer service. Sad as it was a really useful suite of programmes.
