Whether you're in the Trade or embarking on a DIY project, we will have the supplies and advice you need to get the job done. Historically the Basingstoke site had been a sawmill for over 130 years and has been used for fencing and timber sales for the past 30 years. Before it became a sales site, it was the Herriard Estate Sawmill where they produced all their own fencing materials from the logs in the estate forests.

Not a great experience this time around
I used AVS before and had no issues but unfortunately this time it was the best experience. First thing was one of the products i ordered I received a call to say they didn’t stock it but I was available on their website. Second thing was they didn’t arrange the delivery or give any warning just turned up lucky we was in. Third thing was I’ve emailed them twice about the quality of one the pieces of timber and had no email returned. Not sure I would use them again.

Great customer experience
The Basingstoke branch went the extra mile when they found out my order wasn’t in stock after they had confirmed it was. Without hesitation they substituted a slightly higher priced item and gained a very satisfied DIY customer.
