The only thing that wasn’t great this time was the delivery driver, short & sharpe on the phone as he couldn’t find us, he went straight by, put the phone down on me, not impressed

Every thing, bought some sleepers, when I phone helpful, next day when I got there expected to go through order again, but surprised Lewis had it already. Delivered today and yet again suprised, driver couldn't have been better. It was one of the best experiences ever. Thank you both

UC4 ROTTING FENCE POSTS
New fencing and posts installed in May 2018. Two had rotted away by, Sept 2023, and needed replacing. Found two more are rotten and again need replacing March 2026. It would be fair to say the remaining posts will probably need replacing before long. l am not confident the remaining post will last a full 10 years, let alone 15 year. Note : All were cemented in the ground by Acorn Fencing Company.

I chose to order from this company as it was the most competitive price, but that was the only plus point. I received this invitation to review, 2 days after placing the order, but the order had not arrived, so not sure how they expect a rating when the order had not even been delivered!!!Delivery was stated as 3-5 business days, which was fine, I would hoped it would have been sooner rather than later. However by the 5th day I had heard noting and there was no way of progress chasing the order on line with an expected delivery date and time (most suppliers do offer this), so I rang the customer to enquire when it would be coming and was told between 1pm and 2pm that day, by 2.30pm no sign of it, so rang again to be told it was on it's way and maybe it had held up in traffic, but the depot is only 20 minutes from here, if that was the case then maybe someone could have called me. Eventually it arrived around 3.30pm
Very disappointed, in hindsight, I would rather have paid the extra to another supplier and have a more reliable delivery service.

My husband and I ordered a metal side lockable gate from AVS. My husband had correctly measured the gap for us to get advice on which size would be suitable, gave the gate gap size to a salesperson who confirmed the smaller size would be the correct size. Sadly not so, when our contractor arrived to fit we have a gaping space, so not only were we misled with sizing, the salesperson also didn't order the correct length of fence post which was too short for both sides! After making calls to AVS and continually being informed someone would call back, surprise no-one ever did! My husband called in today to see if he could get answers, no they can't do anything again. They aren't prepared to get the gate changed plus the correct sized fence posts, my advice is to avoid like the plague if you need advice from this company! We've now wasted £600+. I wonder if AVS will respond???

Awful. The managed to mess up every delivery i ever had. The staff don't care. It took me 45 minutes to get 2 sheets of plasterboard one morning. i was one of 2 customers waiting. I have complained to Mark the GM whom over 3 weeks ago told me he'd investigate and call me back. He has failed to do so despite me chasing him, several times. The irony is that my feedback is around them making promises they don't keep and then Mark the GM does exactly that. You know what they say, it comes from the top. Awful manager, awful minions. Save yourself the hassle and find a company that understands how to operate professionally.

I ordered 7 fence panels with a 3 to 5 day delivery. After day 6, I called the Peterborough depot to get an order status update. After a long wait I was told they weren't in stock. After another wait I was asked whether I wanted the following Monday or Tuesday delivery! I wondered if this would have happened had I not called.
I opted for Monday. At 1pm I called again to see if I could get an approximate delivery time.
I was told a couple of hours.
The delivery arrived and I asked the driver if he could drop the panels on my drive, close to the fence (about 5 metres from the truck) The driver said no, it would be a kerbside drop only. Then he asked if I would help! I refused. I'm disabled and unable to lift. I opted for delivery so I wouldn't have to pick them up.
The driver then dropped them about 2.5 metres to where I wanted them!
After he left, my neighbour put them in my garage where we noticed that one of the panels was missing a top weather capping length.
Sorry I bothered this outfit and won't be using again.
