Great Client Support....
I have been with AWeber for less than a month. As a REALTOR®, we as agents, uses a lot technology and systems. Unfortunately, there is usually a learning curve. However I switched from a well known email provider and came over to AWeber due to their reputation for having great customer support team. I can say, I am VERY IMPRESSED. Just worked with Will P. who assisted me efficiently and courteously with an issue. Received my technical solution in like 15 min and now have time to move on to my next project. Very happy & please to say they are part of my team!!!

Great customer support
It's been a while since I wrote newsletters. Honestly, I've been putting it off as I wasn't happy with how they looked (I'm not terribly tech-savvy!). However, a problem with my website's subscription button led me to sending an email asking for help. Michelle couldn't have been more patient or helpful, instantly pointing me in the right direction, remotely 'holding my hand' by guiding me through what I needed to do. I was considering moving to another provider, but no longer! That customer support was excellent! Thank you, Michelle!

AWeber is by far my favorite autoresponder. I've used all the big ones (ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, Constant Contact) and find AWeber to be the most intuitive and user-friendly with the most powerful features and competitive pricing. AWeber's support is particularly excellent, with fast response times and great support reps. I worked with Martha today who helped me improve my campaigns by showing me how to use new automation workflow features that rival anything the other platforms have to offer. You can also set up custom landing pages in AWeber if you don't have a website, and integrate with payment platforms like Stripe so you can run sophisticated marketing campaigns. Of course AWeber also integrates seamlessly with WordPress. My favorite features in AWeber are tags and being able to trigger specific campaigns when subscribers click links and buttons in your emails or fill out forms on Landing Pages. If you're hunting for a great platform for your email marketing, look no further. AWeber is the #1 best of them all.
AWeber has been around a long time
AWeber has been around a long time, and I have been with them for a long time. Are there things there I don't like? Absolutely, but compared to other autoresponders I have used, it is the best, especially for getting emails into the inbox. I have even had a self-hosted autoresponder.
Recently, I had to contact support, and Will P was very helpful. I always appreciate good customer support.

AVOID! I signed up to their promotional plan of $29.99 and the 2nd month I was charged $59.99 and after they have charged me $170.00 in Dec and $120.00/month for many months afterwards. When I messaged their help team, they said they have sent emails to all clients about the increase in monthly charge and refuse to refund anything.
No real helpline response
I'm an AWeber client for years and usually I'm happy with what they are offering and also with their helpline, which I don't use very often. This week I've been trying 5 times to get the response of a human being, not an automated Ai answers, that didn't solve the issue. Some subcribers don't receive the automated welcome response with all the details for the online-workshop I created a new list for. Maybe this review will get the attention of the ones responsible for the customer service?

My landing pages were taken offline for an "automated systems review to make sure that accounts are not being used inappropriately," with no email notification. I lost hours trying to troubleshoot the issue before support came online in a different timezone. A day later, they are back up. Support won't provide any further information.
Canceled my subscription early 2024
Canceled my subscription early 2024, yet I'm continued being charged the annual fee each month. I've canceled several times, I have emails proving that they say my account is closed, yet, I have to dispute the fees each month on my card. Where is the integrity of this company? This is truly unethical.

Terminated my account after a couple of days and after paying an annual subscription - not returning any emails and now blocked my email, account from their system. Absolute charlatans - avoid them like the plague!

The quality of my successful customer service experience is due to Will P. I came to AWeber with some complex challenges. This was not a one time or a quick fix. He resolved all of the issues. He did not, and would not, give up or stop until everything was solved. This is the kind of customer service AWeber should strive to deliver always.

I subscribed to to Aweber 4 months ago I have had non stop problems with communicating with the support services, the worse employee to deal with is Amanda who just disappears in the middle of resolving issues.
Most tech companies are difficult to communicate with but Aweber takes it to another level.

Unwelcome make-your-life-miserable Changes in 2025
We have been working with Aweber for more than 7 years.
WE SAY: forget about your easy life with the 2025 aweber interface changes !
Up to present they had easy and manageable campaigns. In June 2025 they changed campaigns to workflows as to match Get Response interface and our new experience is TERRIFYING.
We have long automated training for employees - more than 80 e-mails training, this needs a very compact view of the e-mails and timings, we always introduce new training e-mails that need to be very specifically added in the Workflow. ... .
After having changed their Campaigns interface the user interface has become a true NIGHTMARE.
Before we could see 15 messages + timings on one page, with an easy scroll on whatever point of the campaign. Now they display a BIG SQUARE on the page, NOW WE CANT SEE ANYTHING inside the workflow WE CANT look anymore inside for the right place to introduce the new e-mails.
If you want to add a big problem into your life, that is killing time and your nerves work with the new Aweber Workflows. your life will have a new dark dimension.
Pain to sign up to newsletters for a personal domain
Tried to sign up to a newsletter but couldn't. Contacted the site admin who said AWeber were blocking it. Got in contact with them and they said they weren't blocking it, and asked for screenshots. Sent them the screenshots and they then said they had unblocked it. I asked why it was blocked because I own the domain, and as far as I am aware, I have been the only owner. They refused to elaborate further. So I have no idea why they decided to block me, if they're going to do so again in future, if they've just unblocked a single address or the entire domain, etc. Just seems ridicculous to have so much secrecy around signing up to a newslettter.
