Book Condition Not as Described but you have to pay for return postage
Bought a book described as "Very Good" via Abebooks and it was sent in a flimsy plastic bag offering no protection. On arrival the book had tears on the cover, a hole in the hardback and splits in the spine. Upon initiating a return I was amazed that they do not send a return postage label, you have to pay to return even if not as described!

I received the books quickly however…
I received the books quickly however there were a few minor issues such as the wrapping wasn't great therefore there was a gap displaying the book and one of the books was torn on the front cover and also someone had written their name on the first page and also there were yellow marks on the edges of the pages. I know that they are preused but I didn't expect they would be marked as well!

Warning - Royal Mail is used for delivery!!!
Have had 3 recent orders from Awesome books and I'm very pleased with the books BUT, due to the company using Royal Mail as their delivery agent, only 2 of these parcels arrived within AB's time frame and another order was even delivered to the wrong address (since this householder has gone away for a few days, I now have to wait for RM to retrieve the package and deliver it to the correct address).

Order cancelled without notification.
I placed an order for 2 books - received a message telling me the books had been despatched. Then a couple of days later got a message from Paypal saying my payment was being refunded. No communication from Awesomebooks about it - just no books. NOT an ideal transaction.

moist and smelly
Normally I am very satisfied, but I was disappointed this time because the state of the second hand book. It was meant to be "as new". However, I received very unpleasant smelling book, due to the moisture. Even the pages are wrinkled.
