Don’t give them your money. I returned an item as they sent me the wrong colour. I hadn’t used the item as I could see it was the wrong colour through the clear packaging.
Asked for refund but was refused. I was then told I could have store credit but every time I chose something they kept fobbing me off about stock.
Waiting to hear back from them is useless. I’m now £30 down and they don’t even reply to my emails.
Absolute Mickey Mouse operation.

Purchased an item off their store, returned it as it was an incorrect size, never got the new item, ignored all emails, no refund, no nothing, absolute poor customer service.

I ordered some boots on 25th sept 2025. I was told they would be dispatched within 2-4 working days. I have emailed 5 times with no response. I have gone onto their website today and it no longer exists. I am now trying to get my £130 back through my bank so not great reviews from me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Can't give 0 stars. Goods not despatched. No reply to emails. Very poor. Sadly looks like this is a common issue.

I have been trying to contact this company regarding a missing order. No one has got back to me and the item has never arrived. I would recommend you don not buy from this online store.

Ordered 3 items, only 2 delivered . Emailed the company, they say they’ll sort it, weeks go by nothing, message them again, same thing, say they’ll sort it but nothing happens. This happens a few times and eventually they say they’ll sort don’t have the product so they’ll give me a refund. Weeks go past and still no refund. I’m righting this off now but I can honestly say I haven’t dealt with a company with such poor customer service. Would definitely advise anyone to avoid this company . Absolute shambles

As with all other customers from the past few months, I'm giving a one-star review. In my case, my order hasn't arrived and I've had no explanation for this. I am reporting Back Alley Army Store to Trading Standards for breach of contract and potential fraud. No one else should become a victim of this company.

Only giving one star as thats the lowest rating I can give.
Paid for equipment, at the beginning of August 2025, not recieved by early September. I've paid for items from China and recieved them a week later.

Ordered a messenger bag end of July and over a month later have had no date of when it will arrive. Emailed several times and limited responses saying we're waiting for it it be back in stock. As I've waited so long I've asked for a refund and still not heard anything.

Scam company who do not send items and steal your money

Places an order 2 weeks ago with a 2-4 day dispatch advertised. Still nothing. No contact from them, no dispatch note, no nothing. This is a scam company of the highest degree. I now have to go through all the agro of backtracking through PayPal to get a refund. Shameful, should be shut down

Don’t order from these ordered a month ago and still not arrived only had one email. emailed them 4 times had nothing back it’s a scram company reported it though Klarna gonna have to ring me bank

Do not attempt to buy anything from this crook. I ordered a Viper Locking Harness (black) over 1 month ago. I had the automated email with the delivery confirmation and have had nothing since. No delivery, no follow up email, no response to my emails, no telephone number to contact them.
It seems they are just a scam and the site is still operational. Look through the other one star reviews.
Avoid like the plague.

Ordered some replacement tent poles. According to the website in stock and would be shipped in two days. Two weeks later nothing and I needed them for a camping trip. Tried various methods of contacting them. Finally did get someone (they are a 100% online company = no phone number!), offered a refund and then went cold on me. I am claiming back through my credit card. If I do get the refund from them I'll amend this review. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased 2 pairs of boots as I wasn’t sure if the size required. Returned one, Royal Mail tracked. This was received back in May and I am still waiting for a refund. No reply to emails and the goods were sent back in perfect condition. I’ve provided them with all the relevant details. Just a word of warning. I will remove this if I finally get a refund.

I placed an order which never arrived which was proved by tracking. I was promised a refund and or a discount on the same item when it returns in stock. This was many eons ago now and after multiple emails I never got a response, they are happy to take the hard earned cash but are nowhere to be seen when real customer service is needed. This is the punishment I get when using an independent store, from now on I shall use eBay which has many built in protections for consumers unlike this company.

Ordered some tactical trousers on 9th July. It's now 15th of August and they haven't even dispatched the item...

I've been in contact with them about sending them through or issuing a full refund. They completely ignored my email. Bank has been contacted. They still haven't replied to me.

No stars would be better. Money taken but order not sent… dispatch time is false. Refund eventually processed however all takes too long then told 10 days for the money to be back in my account.
Apparently school holidays mean short staffing levels… what a great way to run a business.

Very disappointed, placed and paid for an order on 23rd July and still not received it. Have sent numerous messages and emails to be told that it’s in dispatch and they will get back to me asap - still waiting. I’ve now asked for a refund but guess what? Still waiting!
Ordered originally because of the quick dispatch time - a complete joke.
I guess I’ll be waiting even longer! Definitely won’t be a returning customer.

Similar scenario to previous review. Order worth over £80 and 5 weeks later no boots received nor replies to numerous emails. Have used them last year and granted item was slow but emails were responded to by a really helpful person. Now had to go via bank to reclaim money. Having done research today on the company appears to be in process of being dissolved but the site is still taking orders/money from unsuspecting people. USE THIS SITE/COMPANY WITH EXTREME CAUTION!
