Custom order made simple by attentive customer support.

Customer support was extremely helpful and worked with me on every step of the order, both before and after production.
When I had questions and concerns with a custom piece, they reached out to me for more information and assisted in creating the perfect fit and form for what I was wanting.
Will order from them again.

The worst customer service and…

The worst customer service and communication - My item was printed wrong multiple times and I tried to no avail to have this company fix the problem. There is no one there who you can you can speak to that has DIRECT knowledge of the graphics so they make it impossible to solve any issues. Very disappointing and will never use them again.

Both times I had horrible interactions with your customer service folks. I explained from the VERY first email to them that we are a govt. agency and that we could only pay using a purchase order. But both times I've ordered through you folks, there's been confusion and miscommunication from your end about payment.

We got exactly what we needed when we needed it.

We got exactly what we needed when we needed for a very competitive price-- like they said.
We had our own artwork for a 19.5' x 7.5' backdrop, but very a tight deadline. Backdropsource reviewed our artwork and gave us feedback within hours that a few sections were below par. We corrected it and recommitted it the same day. We had delivery within three days.

Had a terrible experience with this…

Had a terrible experience with this company. We had to keep contacting a sales rep to get proofs, multiple times, before receiving anything back. Paid for expedited shipping to get the backdrops to us in time, but they shipped the graphics and the frames separately with different speeds (unknowingly) and never supplied tracking for the frames themselves. When the frames finally arrived, they ended up being the wrong frames, then expected us to assemble the WRONG frames just to prove they weren't correct. Would not recommend ordering from this company as zero compensation was given after the countless number of mistakes made on just this one order.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!

I ordered a product needed for a tradeshow with plenty of time. The package was delivered to a UPS facility, where I was told in an email that I had to arrange shipment! In what world do you pay for shipping and the package only gets so far and then you have to do it yourself??

8 weeks later, I am still waiting for the package to be delivered (let's not even talk about how I didn't have it for the tradeshow). Customer service and sales are both a joke. After multiple calls and emails, they have done nothing to help the situation.

To say I am frustrated is an understatement.

Oct 24th I placed an order for a curved tension 8ft media wall (approved proof and receipt of payment is attached) through backdrop Source Canada. I used the Canada website so that the shipment would not have to go through customs and could be delivered promptly for a congress that occurred in Vancouver Nov 7-10, 2023

Oct 27 Received an email from backdrop source saying my order was out for delivery

Nov 8 Received an email from Backdrop Source stating my shipment was at a UPS facility and that I needed to arrange pick-up. This was not the shipping destination that was requested. I called UPS to arrange shipment to the requested address, and was told on multiple occasions that the shipment was being handled by the Resolution center.

Nov 9 I was advised by UPS that the shipment was scheduled for Nov 16th (1 week after the needed delivery date and 3 weeks after the original order, which I was informed as a 2nd day delivery)

Nov 10 I called Backdrop SOurce and asked them to deliver the package to a new address. This was confirmed by email

Nov 15 UPS confirmed delivery to the ORIGINAL address though a new address was requested and confirmed.

Nov 16 UPS delivered the package to the original address

Nov 16 I emailed Backdrop Source asking for them to please reschedule the delivery

Nov 23 Backdrop Source said they would send a prepaid shipping label

Nov 27 I still had not received the prepaid label and again, reached out to Backdrop Source

Nov 28 Received the prepaid Label from Backdrop Source (attached) and was advised to drop off at a UPS location. I asked for them to schedule pickup as this is a hotel, the congress was long over and there is no one to drop off the package.

Nov 29 I contacted Backdrop Source AGAIN asking for them to arrange pick up and delivery
Dec 6 Still had not picked up the package and was asked by Backdrop Source to drop the package off. It was at this time that I was informed the pre-paid shipping label was not for international delivery and would not clear customs.

Dec 13 I still have not received my package. Multiple emails and phone calls to Backdrop Source were of no help. Both Sales and Operations continued to give excuses.

I am disgusted by this company and the way they present themselves. I paid for shipping to a physical address, NOT UPS. I will NEVER do business with this company again and I warn other buyers to stay away.

Product delayed, would not refund my credit card after saying they would

This is probably one of the worst vendor experiences I have ever had. You cannot reach their customer service team directly, they are slow to respond, and generally they are not helpful. My order was delayed and they never issued the credit card refund that they promised, and now I may be out nearly $1,000 from my personal credit card.

Details: In June I purchased a trade show backdrop and frame and some other items for a specific trade show. The items were printed and shipped from China and didn’t arrive until after the show ended, so I could not use them.

On June 23 I contacted Backdropsource and was told that, given the situation, they would issue a refund to my credit card once they had received the materials at their warehouse. DHL confirmed that the items were received at their warehouse on June 27.

I began following up on the status of the refund in July, but I cannot get a straight answer from anyone there. In August I told them that if I did not hear back I would I would dispute the charge on my credit card but I still have not received a refund from Backdropsource. They told my credit card company that their policy is not to do refunds (a policy that they do not always adhere to as you can see from other reviews). I just spoke with someone on November 7 and still no updates as of November 13.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Backdropsource and I would be skeptical of their positive reviews. It’s also important to know items like mine ship from China which definitely adds a level of uncertainty to delivery timeframes.

I will update this if anything changes.

This is my first time using Backdrop…

This is my first time using Backdrop and so far so good! I'm having them vectorize my logo and delete the black background. They vectorized it but didn't delete the background. I brought this to their attention and they are revising as we speak. I'll continue my review after I recieve the final product.

Poor communication with sales person

Poor communication with sales person. She was not understanding my needs and in the end she sent the wrong product.
The company policy for returns is bad for a product that did not have any print on it.
I just wanted an exchange, and no one returned my calls or considered the proposal.
