I recently paid off my RV loan with Bank of the West. As soon as they received the payoff, they killed my online account. Wondering what happened to my RV title after the loan was paid off, I have been attempting to contact someone with a heart-beat to determine where they sent my RV title.

For over two weeks now I have been trying to contact Bank of the West Customer Service for this issue. My god, what a stupid company. It seems like they do EVERYTHING they can to avoid talking to you. This starts out with one of the most onerous computerized phone trees I have ever experienced. Once you navigate their phone tree, you are put on hold for hours with no one ever answering your call. They have NO email customer support, No chat customer support, only their ridiculous telephone system that nobody ever answers.

Never again. I will never do business with Bank of the west again. EVER!

The bank is a total scam!!! I changed my due date for my truck note and they never fixed their system. I called and got the payoff balance for my total loss vehicle over 2 years ago, paid the amount and as of last month was sent a notice that I owe $250 in late fees… We are still in the pandemic and people like this are searching for $$$. Please go somewhere else!!! They are pathetic to say the least! Of course, I keep trying to call their complaints department with no luck. Amy & Nikki thanks for trying to help! You should go for a better company! BBB complaint here I come… This is simply ridiculous…

Laughable and pathetic... These people never answer the phone. You can stay on hold for an hour and they will simply hang up on you. Pathetic, SICK and laughable HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I closed my Savings account, because they were charging me TO HAVE IT! I withdrew all of my Savings and switched to Veridian because they actually PAY ME to use my money. Stay away from Bank Of The West, they are getting as bad as Bank Of America.
I have been with BOW for over 20 years

This bank only pretends to be a bank. I was with them for 18 years only to have them close my account because they appeared to believe there was fraudulent activity on my account. There wasn't. Two gift cards triggered it the first time...sending money by wire triggered another "incident" though the bank didn't kick about sending it. Having someone send me money was another. Stay away from at all costs.

Horrible customer service. Tried to pay a loan amount, the automatic payment system was not working. They do not answer their phones. They are the worst.

I felt scammed I took my new payroll check on Friday to the branch closest to where I’m staying at currently. Mind you I’m out of town and staying in a hotel only had so much time on my lunch and immediately the woman says if you don’t have an account here we’re gonna charge you a fee I thought to myself this is a payroll check that’s not true however did not want to make it a big deal so I mentioned it but didn’t push on it even after all that she had two checks from a very large company that she knew the name of not the name on the account but the name on the building like she knows the company stillShe told me the checks needed to be verified and do you have a seat I told her I’m on my lunch and she knows the account she can call them and ask but apparently that was not the case I wanted to open up an account where my employer banks so I can make it easy for a direct deposit and stuff like that but I doubt I’ll be doing any business with this bank!!!

Horrible customer service and lack of professional integrity. Nobody here cares about their clients!

Think this bank is the definition of 'nickle and dime the customer till death'. Wonder if they'd be better off putting all that marketing money into customer service instead?

It is beyond me how these careless, reckless and incompetent people are still in business.

Liars,law breakers who never answer their phone or respond to correspondence.
I filed a complaint with the federal reserves and I hope everyone else who got burnt by them would do the same.
This joke should not be allowed to conduct business in this country.

Never answer their phone worst customer service ever.
Takes them 10 days to mail you the bill and they expect your payment made in 7 from the day you receive it.
Charge you for insurance even though you carry it on the equipment you purchased.
But of course you can tell anybody that because they don't ever answer their phone.
I would stay away if you can far away.................

Lousy customer service. Charged me $500 because I had to pay off a loan 2 months early. Local bankers tried but was forced to charge me. Never bank with these huge corporate banks. They don’t care about their depositors

DO NOT GET THEIR CREDIT CARDS. 15 days to post payments, 3 days to post charges, $500 credit limit, and they expect you to spend $1500 in 90 days to get intro bonus. My credit score is 800 and they only give me $500 credit limit. Do the math, not worth it. Please do not expand their customer base.

CHARGED FOR CASHING A CHECK THEIR CLIENT GAVE ME TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE? NEVER WILL I HAVE AN ACCOUNT HERE!

Their policies are misleading, they do not communicate well in-person nor through their account portals, nor do they seem to care whether to have you as a client or not. Will not be continuing to do business with this bank.

Bank Of The West is one of those banks that tries to make as much money as they can by penalizing and putting fees on their customers.

I actually got a fee for depositing cash into my account!!! What the heck?!? this is a bank. Isn’t that their main business service?!?

Do not bank at this institution!

I called C/S 755am Utah time. Had to wait 8 min for "Tasha" to come on the line to help me with my issue. She came on with a droning, could care less about having to address my issue. Asked me for security info which I felt was unnecessary in her droning, could care less attitude voice. I know CSR because I was CSR for 26 years at a major credit card co. She had no smile to her voice and I resented her droning attitude. I was transfered to another rep to handle my situation. Tasha needs to get a job elsewhere but not as a CSR. But then, from all the 1 star ratings given this bank tells it all.

They need to work on their customer service.
Waited over half an hour to try and make a deposit. This has become the norm. They are NOT set up to handle business account at all.
Also,they have shortened their hours and close by 4:00 PM so you can't stop by after work.

It was great until it went bad.
I banked with them for three years, no problem, suddenly they started rearranging my payments and on two occasions left me -900 they are the worst and dishonest. Do not bank here.
