year by year the quality of product has deteriorated and they also have messed with their sizing over the years too. Very poor.

Barbour Fibre Down Jacket - poor quality and doesn’t last. I purchased this product under 2 years ago and noticed worn area around the arms where I have my bag. I don’t wear the jacket very often as it is very warm and in London it doesn’t drop to extreme cold weather. After under 2 years for this to go is appalling. I have another fibre jacket which was from a cheap make and have it for 4 years and this product is still perfect condition. It does not have any wear around the bag area. Not great after paying out premium price for Barbour brand name. I contacted customer service and they said it’s out of warranty and not manufacturing issue. I understand that explanation but this should not happen to an expensive jacket while my cheap jacket is still perfect and older

Top tier customer service! Charlotte is an asset to Barbour sorting out and resolving my issue in a very short time. I was very impressed. 10/10 Outstanding. I will definitely continue buying from Barbour my boots are so comfy and well made. I love them!

I sent my trusty but damaged Barbour jacket to them to get it re waxed and repaired as it had ripped. The jacket came back looking new and much as I tried to find the repair , I couldn’t.
I would recommend re waxed, and if necessary a repair. Great service.

Outstanding customer service from Joe. At Barbour. Had an issue with an old jacket that had been repaired incorrectly and this was immediately replaced with a brand new jacket and an apology.

Have seen negative reviews, but my own experience has been exceptional. Sadly, have had to return several purchases for the only reason they came up very big and sizes no smaller than a 10. Refunds have been almost instant, and friendly helpful service. Great company and am hoping they will perhaps begin manufacturing in petite sizes.

I had a problem with the insoles sliding to the back of the wellington boot heel area. Barbour was contacted (via Charlies customer care) and I was advised that the insoles are not stuck in place. This happened to me after a couple of days wearing the boots. It was somewhat frustrating as I would have to stop regularly to reposition the insoles. To hopefully resolve this issue I have now stuck some duct tape to the bottom of the insoles.

Expensive Leather shoes bought at John Lewis, appalling quality split completely from the sole. been wore about a dozen times!

I’ve been a buyer of Barbour coats for over a decade. I got a jacket from Flannels in the Alta style, which degraded extremely quickly (unlike anything else from the brand before). Despite this, Barbour assisted even when flannels wouldn’t. They offered me the chance to pick another coat up to the same value, and replaced it for me. I am so thrilled. I’ll continue to be a customer for life

Excellent quality product and for once (seems to be a rarity these days) using a delivery company capable of following delivery instructions!

The wife bought me some official slippers from flannels for Christmas size 10 and now the soles are literally splitting around the edges and at £50 I think Barbour products have seriously become absolute cheap tat junk.............They are not the same quality anymore avoid like the plague.

Utter crap quality!
Name FAR out weighs it's actual quality. 3 coats now bought...all ripped, in very random, places aftwr very little wear. 1 coat worn in a lightrain shower for 45mins, found pockets had ripped away from body of coat; I'd done nothing but walk around a City and not use the pockets as they're awkwardly situated.
Just don't buy!

Very expensive and very poor quality. £400+ wax jacket worn out in 18 months

Bought a pair of Barbour ankle wellies last year. As I only use them in the wet months I was disappointed to find a large crack appearing in one of the boots, which obviously lets in water.

Love the boots, but would think twice about buying them again

Following India’s advise I contacted Katy who dealt with my query with kindness. Katy was very considerate, polite and professional. Never had a bad experience with Barbour, all of my jackets and clothes from here have been good quality. One thing is that I always seem to find the arm lengths are quite long on all jackets. I would definitely recommend buying from here, especially an outlet to get cheaper prices.

Would like to thank Barbour for their prompt next day delivery service, handy as this was a birthday present for partner.
Imagine my surprise when the package had been delivered whilst I was at work, said partner accepted the delivery….the parcel itself emboldened with several “Barbour” logos.
Needless to say he knew exactly what he was getting for his birthday.

Women’s oak knee high boots were purchased for me November 2023 - yes above a year ago- however I have worn them probably a dozen times in total and trying to remove them is a nightmare. In fact, funnily enough it has taken me an hour to remove the left one today and with doing so has pulled out the insole! Contacted so called customer service who did not give a “hoot 🤬” I try to support what I thought was a time honoured traditional British brand- not any more complete joke ! Quality no better than a cheap Chinese sweatshop.

My wife purchased a pair of Barbour Tempest boots for me as a Christmas present last year. One of the boots began to leak water through cracks in the sole. I contacted customer support after having the boots less than a year. Evie in customer support was more than happy to help resolve the issue. After completing a few bits of information along with original receipt of the boots a new pair are being posted out to me. Brilliant customer service and will continue to support the Barbour brand 👍

Outstanding customer service from Brooke by email at Barbour direct. Purchased men’s wellingtons which were letting in water for the 2nd time. Even though I did not purchase from them directly I was unhappy with the price I paid and thought to go directly to Barbour. They offered me an exchange. Her customer service was prompt and efficient. Extremely helpful. I can see why Barbour has such a good reputation.
