I recently stayed at this accommodation, and, unfortunately, my experience was marred by several unexpected issues that overshadowed the positives.

Firstly, while the location was great—close to shops and just a 10-minute walk to the beach—the condition of the appliances was disappointing. Most of them appeared well-used, which isn't what you expect when booking a place for a getaway. The washing machine door was locked, and it took several hours before I could recover my clothes, causing unnecessary stress.

To make matters worse, the fridge broke down overnight, resulting in all our food going to waste. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after the inconvenience of the washing machine incident.

Additionally, the door had a peculiar locking mechanism that caused us to be locked out due to a simple mistake. When we reached out for help, the owner was responsive but ultimately booked a locksmith at our expense—€217. This situation felt avoidable, and it left us feeling unsupported, as it seemed like a recurring issue that should have a backup plan in place.

On a positive note, the owner did communicate well and arranged for us to stay in another apartment while the door was being addressed. They also replaced the fridge, but sadly, we had to throw away all our spoiled food.

Overall, while there were some positive aspects to our stay, the series of unfortunate events added a significant amount of stress and disappointment to our experience. I hope the owner takes these concerns seriously and implements improvements for future guests.

Amazing owners, amazing location at a great price

The location is very central and you almost need no transportations if you can walk a lot. Oscar who gave us the room's key is very friendly and professional. The taxi service from the airport is amazing as well. The only downside thing is the cleanness of the room; everything related to the beds and bathroom was ok, but the floor, tables, balcony and the kitchen need more attention. I was with a group of friends and we spent almost the entire time outside so it wasn't that bad. And I liked a lot the lonely chimney, it gives some special vibes to the place. Overall, I believe what you get is the best for what you pay.

Great location, friendly hosts and lovely apartment! We would recommend!

Apartment is on very good location, close to the beach but also walking distance from city center. It is very nice, quite with a nice terrace on the garden side. From the other side, apartment needs renewal as furniture, bathroom are pretty used. Also, cleaning and hygiene over all must be improved.

They keep my security deposit of 300€ after a month they dive back 220€ why à don’t no . There is no explain and no bill .
There is no clim in the room on te ruff top , they send some one but nothing it was very hot , and there is no water the last day .

Lovely spacious apartment rooms where ok but the double rooms where to single beds put together which was really uncomfortable for sleeping on the kitchen sink and toilets smelt of sewage constantly.

My friend booked a fabulous looking apartment with this company for a group of us to celebrate a joint 40th birthday. They were staying from Tuesday to Sunday and I was joining on the Friday evening.

When I arrived, first thing they told me was that the apartment had been broken into on the first day and some money had been stolen. THERE WAS NO SIGN OF FORCED ENTRY. They told me that they phoned Barcelona Best Services and were offered an alternative apartment but the woman on the phone had admitted that their other apartments had been broken into before. She also assured us that they were the only people to hold keys. My friends, naively perhaps, felt that lightening wouldn't strike twice and that if they couldn't be assured of safety in an alternative apartment, they may as well stay where they were.

After a great Friday night out on the town, we got back to the apartment to find that lightening can strike twice. This time, locked cases had been slashed open and many items had been stolen including a passport. THERE WAS, ONCE AGAIN, NO SIGN OF FORCED ENTRY.

Barcelona Best Services Apartments did not change the locks to the apartment and have not taken responsibility for this breach of security. Of course, we don't know that this was an inside job but we do know that Barcelona Best Services Apartments did nothing to secure the apartment after the first burglary had been reported and have done nothing since reporting the second.

DO NOT TRUST THEM - THE SAFETY OF THE APARTMENTS
A group of friends and I stayed at their apartment in central Barcelona for a joint 40th birthday celebration, and during that 4 day stay we were burgled not once, but twice! First time was a small amount of money, which we reported immediately to Barcelona BS who reassured us the only people who had another set of keys to the apartment was them, and we were provided with a 'security camera' which was essentially a webcam inside rather than outside the apartment. The following night, we came back from celebrating to find locked suitcases had been cut open and personal items had been taken, including one of our passports, laptops and portable chargers. There was absolutely not sign of forced entry, indicating keys were used to enter the property. Barcelona BS do not make the safety and security a priority, and this has clearly happened before (the company admitted that to my sister). Please do not stay with this company!

Coming to Barcelona for an Expo on business the hotel rates become ridiculous so thought an Apartment might be more cost effective. Barcelona Best Services came up trumps! Three bed duplex apartment, first line on sea front, 10th floor; nice accommodation and well appointed. Very helpful in storing my luggage in their central office until check-in time, very efficient check-in and helpful staff.
Only downside would be the apartment needs a little maintenance on matters such as a few sockets not working and internal door handles falling off. Could be a big deal for some, but these things happen !

THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT SAFE OR SECURE.
We were burgled TWICE during our stay. After the first incident, where a small amount of cash disappeared, we reported to Barcelona BS and were told this had happened before at another of their apartments. They provided a camera for the living area, however we were burgled again a few days later and lots of personal items and one of our passports was taken. Both entries there was no damage to locks and entry appears to have been with keys. Barcelona BS do not make the safety and security a priority, and this has clearly happened before (the company admitted that to me, and I have since found other reviewers saying this happened to them as well).

Located out of the Barcelona touristic centre, calm but still near the centre.

Modern and clean. Lots of storage, good bathroom and kitchenette. Only disappointment was the single beds. It squeaked every time you turned over, and the second single was pulled out from under the first making it impossible to walk around the room.

the keys for the parking place never showed up, curtains were damaged and could not be closed toilet rols could not hang on the wall.
pity for a apparment on such a good lcation!
