As a first time buyer in the UK, we had heard lots of scary stories about new houses and builders but meeting the sales team at Bargates took away all our worries!
Special thanks to Jonathan who gave us plenty of time in explaining about the development, type of build at the Heritage place and also made sure that all our questions were answered!
Can’t give anything less than a ‘5 star’ to this amazing man and his team!

The sales team Zoe, Maddie, Charlie and Tony were excellent throughout our buying process. Kept us up to date with all that was happening and we were informed weekly of its progress. The team have helped to make our new home experience pleasurable.

We have had a great experience with Jonathan and his team from the start to us being very close to moving. The weekly emails and contact with any updates have made a stressful experience much easier.

I am in the process of buying a new home on the Marlow Walk site, Greenaway Lane.
So far, I couldn't ask for a more attentive team. I have visited the property several times, they answer all my questions and if I email the team I get an answer back within hours. My trip to Bargate Head Office in FairOak was also such a great experience. I feel very looked after by Tony, Zoe, Maddie and Charlie. Very excited about my move :-)

The Sales Team (Maddie, Charlie, Tony, Zoe ) were amazing they helped me through the protect with no issues what so ever. Even at the end when we were up against a deadline to get in the property they pulled out all the stops so that I could move into my lovely new home. not only that I felt like a Friend to all of them they just couldn't do enough for me. Having bought from other developers these guys are on a different level of customer service. Thank you for making my experience such a good one.

The customer service I have received to date from Bargate (prior to exchange) has been excellent. The on-site sales team at Heronscourt could not have been more helpful. The floor selection process at Bargate HQ was also very efficient, and although there was a minor cross-wire between what was chosen and what was fitted, this was very quickly resolved to my entire satisfaction. We have recently moved into our lovely new home in Warsash after starting the process from Western Australia. We had video calls, plenty of information about the building and ongoing weekly updates and photos right up to completion. The sales team made the decision to proceed really easy as they were happy to answer any questions or concerns.
While we’re dealing with usual snagging issues that you get with a new build, the tradies have all been lovely and we’re happy with the high standard of finish. We love the area after living overseas; it has everything we need here. It’s a great location.
So once again, a big thank you to the Bargate sales team who started with us on this journey to our new home.

The Whole sale process has been just amazing and smooth. All members of the sales team at Heritage place are pretty awesome and kept informed at every stage. Thanks to Jonathan and Victoria for making the journey from demo to moving in a very smooth and nice one.

For anyone worrying about buying a "new-build" home. Don't!!! We have been on a 2-year journey with Bargate. We have looked at their houses over a number of different developments & have had to take a long time deciding on a house (due to personal reasons). Every step of the way, Jonathan has been exceptional. He is the personification of professionalism & courtesy. The Bargate homes are built to an exceptional standard & we cannot wait to move into our home now we have finally picked one out. Bargate have been professional & so patient every single step of the way. They have been great at communicating too.

A huge shout out to Maddie, Tony, Zoe & Charlie in the sales office at Warsash Heronsquarter. I can truely say they have been an outstanding team to deal with. Any questions, meetings or problems I may of had they have always been happy to help, attentive and have amazing attention to detail! They have been a dream to work with from start to finish.

We are in the process of purchasing a property at Heritage Place with Bargate. Our dealings with Jonathan, Victoria and Tony on site have been positive, They’ve been friendly, helpful and informative about the whole process, we’ve not felt rushed and nothing is too much trouble. Jonathan has been our main contact and he’s been particularly great. Nina who we met at head office to make our choices within our home was also helpful and knowledgable.

While we had a great experience with Bargate Homes sales team and some very positive post-sales support, we now observe Bargate Customer Service becomes very unresponsive and seems to really not care anymore about customers. Since we moved to our home we listed a number of items to be fixed. In the initial days, Bargate team was very efficient in coming to our house and fixing the items listed. We had very positive experiences. In the last 3 months however Bargate teams fails to schedule the resolution of the remaining items (like fixing the front door). It seems we need to beg them for any update on the topics jointly agreed and they fail to understand that their responsibility remains for the period of the warranty. I hope Bargate improves otherwise we would NOT ANYMORE recommend them as builders.

We can not fault the experience with Bargate up to now. We had a troublesome time with our chain and Jonathan, Terry and Victoria in the Bargate sales team were there every step of the way and helped ensure we still made it into our dream home.
After moving in, the after sales care has been excellent, with minor snags resolved promptly.
We would highly recommend and couldn't be happier.

The Bargate Homes team have been very good thus far. They have answered all our queries patiently, and have been very professional.
It would be helpful if they could be available after 9-5 office hours for a couple of hours.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with Bargate Homes. The sales team—Callum, Zoe, and Maddie—were absolutely brilliant throughout. They kept me regularly updated with emails, photos, and progress reports on the build, which really helped me feel involved and reassured every step of the way. A special mention must go to Charlotte, who was an absolute godsend during the process. Her support, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and would highly recommend Bargate Homes to anyone.

Jonathan and the team are fantastic!

Our journey started back in 2024, when we were trying to decide which house type was the best for us. After A LOT of viewings and going almost every weekend to the development we finally made our decision. Jonathan, Victoria and Tony have been absolutely amazing. Helping with every question, helping us with the lenght process of buying when you have a chain and explaining every step of the way. This is our second time dealing with a new build and this team has made the experience amazing.

We appreciated the team’s effort in communicating regularly and helping us along the buying process. A special thanks to Jonathan for going out of his way to provide helpful updates on the property. The customer care service is also good.

Great experience purchasing our home through Bargate!

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and will always try to help where they can. Response times are great, the level of detail they go into about your new home and the build quality is amazing. The level of care is 5 star. We are yet to complete and have our snagging but i have no doubt Bargate will continue to deliver at a high standard.

Thank you to Margaret, Jonathan, and the rest of the team for making our transition smooth so far!

Only (very) minor points are that we are not able to do a snagging before completion, only the limited PCI checklist covered by NHQC - but i believe this is standard across all new builds???
