My time at EBS London was amazing! As well as meeting 29 new classmates we got to stay at a hostel & experienced hostel life. The following day we got to meet our wonderful instructors (Richard, Bryan & Paolo) who were amazing at what they do & though there teaching i found a hidden passion for flair i never knew i had which leads up until this day! Ontop of the infamous Tom Dyer popping in on occasion which was a massive bonus. Only thing i wish we had was more time to spend together but none the less the experience was once in a lifetime & im so glad even after covid i got the opportunity to do this course

I did the 4 weeks bartender course and it really exceeded my expectations!
We had so much fun and made great friendships but still learnd a lot. I think that fun and education is really well balanced. We had the best teachers. They were so nice, have a big knowlege and are all so passionate about their job. They all want the best for their students.
I recommend this course for everyone who's up for an adventure! And what I also suggest, is to book the mixology course. Very interesting and helps you a lot to create your own cocktails.
Just be brave and book the course right now😉🥳🍹🍸🍷❤🎊💃🏼🇪🇦

For anyone considering taking a course with this company I would suggest to read all the terms and conditions before paying any instalments. Just before covid started spreading I had booked a course and paid for my additional packages including insurance. I had not planned to request a refund and I was very excited to get this experience but as there was no sign of getting abroad I had asked for a refund which they told me is not possible other than selling my course to someone else or freezing my account. I did not make a fuss out of this situation as I had still planned to take part in the course and went ahead to freeze my account which I still had to pay for even though I could not leave the country due to covid. So for anyone who is young and possibly saving money for the course from paycheques I really hope you do not loose money from a silly mistake like me by agreeing to the terms and conditions without doing thorough checks beforehand.

It's now a little over a month ago that I came home from Kos, Greece after one of my best experiences ever!😍 The bartending course at the European bartender school (KOS) was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!!🍹 It all started with my friend and I think it could be a fun way to spend our summer vacation in this Corona time,☀️🌡 but it ended up being so much more; new family, new friends and a new passion for bartending❤❤❤
If you ask me, EBS kos was worth all the money, it was such a fun, educational and evolving experience I will not want to be without!🤪🍻❤
All the activities we did were really fun and got the students bound together across nationalities. But they also helped us get around the whole island and see some of the historic ancient Greece.🏛📖🏛
The enthusiasm and commitment of the hotel and school owner Lawrence, as well as the rest of the staff (Teacher, bartenders, kitchen staff and guard), was absolutely amazing to see and it really got you doing your best to pass the exam❤🤩
Here a month later I really miss EBS kos, the students, the teachers and the staff😔❤
A HUGE THANKS to Lawrence, Agata, Renata, Andrea, Esmeralda, Darwin and the rest of the staff for being great at creating such a great environment down there!❤🍹🍸🍷
Misses EBS Kos so much and i hope to return at a later date!🤪❤

I did the one day barista course in London. Whilst I gained some good knowledge of the history of coffee and had a few opportunities to make espressos and cappuccinos, I felt the entire day wasn't very professional and quite frankly it was not worth the £170 we paid for it! I mean, for that money you'd expect them to at least give you some snacks/lunch given it's a 9am-3pm course. Instead, we didn't have anything to eat for 4 hours until we had a break, and had to walk out on to Bermondsey high street to get it ourselves! I also think the whole day was not structured well enough and everything felt like a complete rush. The teacher spoke at a million miles an hour and it just felt like he couldn't wait to finish the course. I was also very disappointed that we were not given the presentation slides after the course, even when emailing to ask if we could have these. Are we supposed to have photographic memories or take photos on our phones?? Overall it was a disappointing experience and i really don't know how they're proclaiming to be the best in this field!
its been a fantastic experience and its not over i was so unlucky or lucky (depends on how you look at it) not to pass my final exam but thanks to the insurance i had i can take the course again ⭐5= that was what i said before my second Cours now im a certified bartender i wish to give 10 stars if not more but i do not think IT is possible so ⭐5 🌟
I did the course in London and I absolutely love it!
I wish I could put 10 stars because these guys totally deserve it.
Lessons are hard and at the end of the day you are pretty worn out, but it totally worth it since at the end they even help you find a job!
Meeting people from all over the world I came away with friends for life and learned a fun skill and took this with me and worked in Cyprus and then Ibiza where I served stars like Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Pete Docherty, Fatboy Slim just to name a few. It's taken me to some of the greatest moments of my life.
will flair tools and kit provided there, all that incurs in fees or we got to pay extra
on top can anyone who doesnot know anything about bar-tendering will get adequate knowledge and training to be a bartender after training?
I've been to EBS course in Phuket in January 2013. This school is just perfect. I knew a lot of beautiful people and i made friends for life. I had a lot of fun and the events were amazing ! While having fun and enjoying the paradise i studied really hard cause the course was over my expectations. Every day you practice behind the bar, learn cocktails, study theory about spirits, flair without break and every week there are tests and exams to keep your mind active and prepared but thanks to this you'll finish EBS with the best bartending preparation EVER ! I had the time of my life and at the same time i learned a profession that i love. The sentence that i always say is : I'd like that i didn't pass the exam just to do it another time :) ! If you are thinking to be a Bartender or you just like the idea to be one go to EBS and i'm sure u'll have the time of your life.
Thanks again to everyone that made my experience unique. EBS I MISS U !
Siccio, The Italian.
My best 4 weeks of my life!!! I wouldn't change it for nothing. The people and the school! It was a tuff education and you had to study hard but it was totally worth it. I stayed and worked for two months, not so good pay but a very good experience!! Hughs and Kisses to my friends!!
In four weeks, you will learn all you need to become a talented bartender, you will have fun and meet interesting peopme
Negative things first: the quality of the barkit could have been better when thinking about it's price.
But anyway, the course in London was amazing and I really miss the school and all the people. Teaching was good and the teachers just kept on pushing us to work harder and better, which really worked! But honestly I can say that it was the most difficult school I've went to.
In addition to all the things I learned and experienced, I got many new friends from the course and that's like a crown for the course.
Those people and EBS have a special place in my heart.
The course I had in London was amazing! Of course, it was quite expensive, the hostel we lived in was so poor that getting used to it took 2 weeks, and when I got home I noticed that the quality of the overly expensive barkit I bought was rubbish... But all of those things don't matter anything when thinking about the awesome month I had. Staff both at the hostel and at school was great, instuctors were super friendly and fun but also demanding enough to make students do well. Studying was definitely hard work but now I know so much about cocktails and the bar industry that it was all worth the effort. Other students were the icing on the cake - I made good friends during the month and all in all I miss the school, people in London and even the hostel. Wish I could do it all over again!
The school itself was good. Staff was well prepared. Managing team also organized after-class activities and some parties. I recognize this schools as a great place to become a professional bartender. However personally I found some drawbacks: firstly, it's way too expensive given the fact that the school is set up in Phuket, Thailand; secondly, learning tools such as flairing bottle and starting bartender's kit was ridiculously expensive (it's possible to get all the stuff online more than twice cheaper!!!); thirdly, student were not allowed to practice flairing with school equipment and were forced to get flairing bottles from school.
Due to very intense schooldays I learnt a lot and I still still remember pretty much everything. The school did not only cover drinks but also flairing and history of spirits which was good. Only thing that could be included in my mind is some winetasting and history etc.
Also very friendly and helpful teachers and you could buy a barkit at the school.
Amazing friends from the hostel experience, you all become like a crazy family
HEY! I HAVE PASSED THE COURSE IN PHUKET. AND NOW I CAN SAY I AM A BARTENDER. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME BECAUSE I MET MANY NEW FRIENDS WHOM STILL WE ARE CONNECTED AND I AM PROUD TO KNOW THEM.
AFTER I GO BACK TO MALAYSIA I FOUND A BARTENDER JOB IN A FAMOUS CLUB WHICH WAS ALL FUN AND THE INCOME WAS QUITE FINE FOR A TRAVELER.
