A good start but it all went down hill
Bought a whole new bathroom suite. Started really well, with a helpful person assisting me when I chose the goods that I wanted. Sink, loo and radiator all fine and a lot cheaper than available in the shops. However they sent the wrong bath; lots of apologies and they arranged to send another one. But the second one was wrong too. By this time, my workmen were in doing the job, so we couldn't wait for bathsuperstore to try a third time and my plumber had to get me a bath himself instead, which cost considerably more than the bathsuperstore one, so I was left out of pocket. Weeks later, I still have bathsuperstore's bath in my living room as I cannot get them to come and collect it at a time that is mutually convenient - and I don't yet know whether they have refunded me. Particular gripes:
(a) they *tell* you when deliveries/collections are going to happen, rather than arranging a convenient day with you like anyone else does;
(b) where they have to use a third party delivery company, my experience is that they do it on the cheap - they had a sole deliveryman deliver an entire bathroom suite and he had to somehow carry in a heavy steel bath by himself, which is meant to be carried by two people;
(c) their attitude is so laid back it's almost horizontal - I have spoken to Ben in their shop innumerable times but actually getting him finally to sort things out to my satisfaction is proving nigh on impossible.
So, all in all, really disappointing because it started so well, but these 2 stuff ups with the bath, followed by completely ineffectual efforts to resolve it (I DON'T WANT A BATH IN MY LIVING ROOM!!!!) have unfortunately meant that there is no way I could recommend to my friends that they deal with them.
