Clear communication, quick delivery and effective product

Just had to fight the delivery driver for my order, as he wanted to keep them for himself.
The police turned up and charged me for assault and battery.... I'm here all week!

This company is "branded" as a United Kingdom company, to imply it is UK-based but it's not, and possibly not a company either.

The website is excellent with instant conversion into multiple local (fiat) currencies and the customer service response is one of the fastest I've ever seen.

They even saved me costs on shipping when it turned out that shipping the two items separately was less expensive and saved on duties. Both items arrived and was trackable so all-in-all, an excellent service.

This would be a 5-start rating if not for the fact that the product shipped from China, the product was not the branded product of Greenworks so any warranty is likely not available. Payment was accepted by an individual with a clearly Asian name.

Only time will tell whether the batteries shipped meets consumer expectations and standards, that is, how long will they hold a charge, and how long will they last. Since there's no brand name or company to hold the vendor accountable after the sale or to hold the seller to a minimum product standard, the bottom line is that you have to toss the dice and hope that what you're buying is what you're expecting and that there won't be any issues later.

Excellent service and communication as always. Second battery I've ordered from you and you always excel in customer service considering you are based overseas. The communication is exceptional from dispatch to delivery and much better than my attempts to secure a battery to suit my lawnmower in the UK.

Well done Batteryer Customer Services, you kept your head and looked after your customer (5 stars), when the delivery company Evri badly let us both down.
You just agreed to reorder without hesitation using a different courier this time. The package arrived within the delivery window and the goods were of a high standard. I believe that Batteryer have gone above and beyond, so very well done.

Their batteries are shown cased in Bosch looking casing but not Bosch. I was told the word ‘replacement’ on their website makes this clear. There’s another word I used initially but they complained. They said they would issue me with a refund and it would take up to 10 days. When it didn’t come after two weeks they blamed ‘stripe’ / ‘your bank’ and said what happens subsequently to them ‘Issuing a refund’ had nothing to do with them.

After all this, I’m unsure what happened. Initially I saw the account debit but now the only debit I can see was their currency charge for me changing my mind. So no debit/no refund to date. It’s also of concern that they seem oblivious to what happened or why. They are unequivocal they debited it and then ‘issued a refund’ aka ‘asked for a refund’ (not transferred the refund). I’m still concerned and wouldn’t recommend.

Like many others, l thought l was purchasing these batteries from a UK based supplier only to find it came from China.
They are not worth buying. I bought 2 Hilti replacement batteries a couple of years ago and whilst they fit the drills. they don't last for long. I have used them and charged them and now they are defunked. A complete waste of money. The original Hilti batteries are the best value for money even if they cost more.

The worst customer services. Purchased 2 Bosch lawnmower battery replacements. Fitting grooves are totally different from the original Bosch and battery is jammed in my lawnmower, rendering it totally non functional. The response from batteryer “read the fine print, it’s not compatible with all Bosch lawnmowers, you bought the wrong product”. Then they are to return the item for a refund…the battery is jammed in my lawnmower for God sake!

Battery would not charge and Batteryer did everything it could to obstruct a replacement.
We bought an 80 v battery from this company on a .CO.UK website in January 2024 for my Mountield mower.
Due to weather conditions, i did not start to use the battery until late April when I noticed that it did not accept the charge when in the charger.
I assumed that it was the charger and made an 80 mile round trip to purchase a new one. Before buying the charger I tested the battery (on the new charger) and it still would not charge. The company then checked to ensure that it was not their charger at fault, by inserting another customers battery into it, and it showed that it was not the charger at fault, but the battery I had purchased from Batteryer.
I then contacted the supplier on several occasions, via email, as there was no contact telephone number.
After several exchanges, where i supplied, as requested, a video of the battery not charging on my charger, they still insisted that it was not the battery at fault.
After further emails from them, I was told that i could send it back to be checked, but to their supplier in CHINA at my own cost! After researching the cost, and finding a carrier that was prepared to take it, it was prohibitively expensive (approx £80 ) and they would check it in China.
Nowhere on their website, including the lengthy terms and conditions, did it say that the onus was on me to return the battery at my own cost to China
I bought from a UK website and it should be up to them to return it to China if they so wished.
I would like to make it very clear that all i wanted was a REPLACEMENT battery (for which I paid £139), but as a result of their obstructive behaviour, I have had to purchase a new mower and now have a FAULTY battery which is nothing more than an expensive ornament.
I have all of the email strings to evidence my complaint.
It is very clear that they are not prepared to do anything about this at all.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I feel some of the other reviews are unfair. I ordered a replacement battery from Batteryer and it was delivered. Had a small problem with the battery, I contacted the company, the lady I spoke to was so helpful and resolved quickly. Very happy and would recommend.

I can confirm that Batteryer did give me a partial refund - 30% of the original cost of the battery I ordered. This is a positive move on their part, although it does not compensate fully for the money - and time- I wasted on a battery that did not work, from a Chinese supplier which pretends to be a UK-based company.

I thought I was buying from a UK company, but the batteries came from China, and they turned out to be unsuitable. Although Batteryer agreed to accept return, I could not find any courier willing to return them to China!
Batteryer's communication was good, and perhaps I should have been more careful to order the correct battery. Otherwise I would have given fewer stars.
