24th Jan 2024 Ordered replacement Dyson…

24th Jan 2024 Ordered replacement Dyson SV05 vacuum battery Li-On 2500 mAh 21.6 V
5th Feb received order update which said 'We will carefully check your order today and prepare it for shipment from one of our warehouses or our supplier as soon as possible.' ( but no tracking information or confirmation of dispatch)
8th Feb chased by email for update or return of payment - no response
14th Feb opened Paypal chargeback
15th Feb received email from seller saying they were dispatching on the 15th. Gave up and ordered a battery direct from Dyson
17th Feb received the Dyson OEM one
22nd Feb received the BatteryUpgrade.co.uk one - to return it I have to get an RMA from them and send it back to Holland at my expense.

I'll never buy from them again. Their comms are non-existent until you raise a chargeback and my impression of their 'factory fresh' promise is that it's a weasel way to say 'we don't order batteries from the manufacturer until we have your order' (and your money). This has put me off 'saving' money on non-OEM batteries.

Won’t replace a faulty, unused, battery

Battery arrived after much chasing. Having opened it for the start of the mowing season the battery did not work. The company refuses to replace it insisting that the battery has to be tested by the customer within 3 months. The quality is poor and the connections dont fit properly. Only fractionally cheaper than the OEM battery but very poor quality. Didn’t even offer to repair the batery for a charge.

Probably a scam, please AVOID.

Item was allegedly dispatched over 3 weeks ago. I was given a fake tracking number. They have not responded to any emails, there is no phone number to call. This is most likely a scam company. AVOID!

Terrible service

Ordered a battery for our church defibrillator. The battery was incompatible. Tried to return it (at a cost of over £14!!), but was refused at Netherlands customs and sent back to me. Thought this company (Battery Upgrade .Co.uk) was UK based.
The company eventually did refund the cost of the battery 2 months later.

Are they reliable?

This company is misleading you if you are in New Zealand as they just use a NZ email address.
I ordered a product on the 26th of January 2024 and within seconds I had replies with an invoice and telling me the product had been dispatched. This is when I found out they weren't stocking in NZ. I paid double the amount I would have paid if I bought from Australia, but I wanted to support a local business.
Now I have been told the item should have departed om Feb 8th and given a T&T number for Fedex. They don't know the number. They are very slow to answer emails. I can only hope we can get a good result soon.
PS.
I can tell you the order has arrived and it is as per the order.
Unfortunately the advice given from ElseWare was incorrect so I am now ordering from Australia.
I repeat. This was not the fault of Batteryupgrade.com

Battery was dead when arrived. No any contact from company when trying to get the refund. Cheat company, dont use if you dont want to lose your money.

Good service

Product delivered in reasonable time in good order and works fine. Good service. Would order again from this company. It was a Worx Battery (4000 mAh 20 V, Black, Original) suitable for Worx 20V Max.

No item after 6 weeks, poor communication and order experience

I placed an order for an item they indicated was in stock - several weeks later after no delivery I enquired and was told it was out of stock, but would be sent when it comes in soon.

Another couple of weeks later I asked again, no reply.

They should indicate up front if an item is out of stock, and in the eventuality that it is contact customers to let them know not vice versa

Ordered a battery before reading the bad reviews here..panicked then and got in touch with customer service as no update on my battery after the initial your item is being processed email... customer care got straight back to me to insure my battery was on the way..arrived two days later in perfect condition.

Ordered a battery replacement with them…

Ordered a battery replacement with them and took almost a month until I got the battery. Put it in my phone and fully charge it and upon opening my phone battery was downed to 97% and after the sitting up my phone it went to 93 and after just 6minutes it went to 90%. 10% under 10minutes. I emailed them last week and still no response.
