Great product and fast shipping, very satisfied and big recommendation!

Went bankrupt earlier this year. Appears to have been re-launched but the process of refunding my old order has been complex, difficult and very slow. It was just a £70 cable but if it had been a big piece of kit this would have been a disaster. Would not use again.

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I received a damaged product, and what followed was weeks of failed pickups, false tracking updates, and zero accountability.

Customer service kept repeating the same broken process, and eventually got the package picked up, but I’m still waiting for my refund. I won’t be buying from Bax Music again. Avoid this store.

The quality of service I received from the team was really impressive. I was guided to the best product according to my need and budget. The sales personnel took their time to explain the benefits and also advised on the best product according to my needs.

The staff at Bax in Goes was beyond amazing! They are musicians who are very knowledgeable, who care about instruments and music. They were very helpful and friendly. The store has everything you need to put a band or concert together. A wide selection of instruments and brands of all price ranges.

We tried to order a guitar from Bax music and everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Payment failed, eventually worked with paypal.
Order was never send.
When we cancelled the order, refund was never made.

We are still waiting one month after the payment for a refund and have to ‘proof’ now that we paid the guitar. And much more things went wrong, even too much to all type here. I just hope we will see our almost 2000 euro back… Filed a complaint through Paypal, so hopefully that works out.

Perfect product

It breaks my heart to write a bad review about a music shop, considering that all the shops seem to be closing these days, not being able to compete with the giant Thomann.
However, I cannot be anything but disappointed in the service I have received from Bax. I ordered 4 lamps for a videoshoot which, according to their website should have been delivered on Monday (next day, as I ordered on Friday) but it was sent via bPost and therefore not arrived before Wednesday which is too late for the videoshoot. My order is simply useless and I am without lights for the shoot. I called hoping they could do something but the only advice I got is: "just send it back if you don't want it". Terrible customer service and do not trust their "next day delivery". It simply is a lie. It will show up when it will show up apparently.
Extremely disappointing and I am dad to day that it looks like using Thomann on this occasion would have been a better call...

Bax-shop filed for bankruptcy but has a restart.
To date (26 may '25) the physical shop has opened in GOES (NL) again but the website is still not active.

terrible experienece with their customer support.

Mic broke down after 2 months, sent for repair, came back faulty, sent again, asked for a refund, they said 'it's in their policy to only refund within the first 30 days after purchase', sent the mic back anyway, i wasn't there, mic got stolen from the hallway.

so i waited 30 times x2 for repair, used a broken product, and eventually lost my money and patience. Support didn't help properly once. They think their policy is over the Dutch and EU consumer laws lol. Pathetic company, never buying from here again.

Bought a guitar bag, it didn't fit, so I emailed them about the returns and refund procedure, I followed it, and it's been roughly a month now and still no refund, they are no longer replying to emails, as a last attempt I tried to contact them on Facebook but they are ignoring me there also

Over the past 11 years, I’ve bought a lot of gear from Bax, and overall, it’s been my favorite music shop—even ahead of Musicstore and Thomann.

Orders consistently arrived in the advertised condition (unlike my experience with Thomann), which was the most important factor for me. They provided tracking numbers, packaging was usually excellent, and they offered a huge selection of products. Occasionally there were discount codes, and back in the day, even some fun freebies like mugs or pens.

Of course, there were a few hiccups—slow refunds, inconsistent customer service, and sometimes items that turned out to be undeliverable.

Still, I’d be happy to see them sort out their finances and make a comeback.

Overall, my personal experience with Bax has been great.

That said, I totally understand why some customers are upset—especially if they lost money. Depending on their payment method, they might still be able to recover it.
