I bought a craftsman's fountain pen from a local maker. I liked the overall finish and appearance, but writing with the misleading nib was a poor experience. I contacted Beaufort who were most helpful, and bought a replacement nib, at a sensible price. Great - lovely feel to the pen, and it does not block up through not using for a while.

I’ve purchased from Beaufort Ink all my years of pen turning. Phil and family plus his co workers do an extremely great job with the orders and over the phone. Quality products and if you have a problem is usually solved over the phone.

Phil and the team do a great job of providing after sales service when required. You can call them any time you need some advice, they always have time for you. Their pen kits are excellent value, made with close tolerances so everything fits beautifully.

I have ordered numerous Mistral Fountain Pen kits and pen blanks from this company. The pen kits are excellent quality, the downloadable instructions are clear and the finished pens are top quality. These kits are not cheap in comparison to other options but the quality makes it a worthwhile purchase. Delivery is also quick and efficient.

After a problem with a small item I bought, I got a good initial response saying they would sort it out, but then no responses or further communications for 3 months. My request for a refund was ignored. It makes me not want to buy any more expensive product from this company.

I've purchased Bock nibs from Beaufort Ink; out of several, one had an issue and I did not have the tools or to tune it myself; this can happen with nibs of any manufacture and different retailers have different attitudes to resolving it.
Beaufort responded very quickly and arranged a replacement immediately, resolving the issue effectively as quickly as possible.

I have recently bought quite a few pen kits and other items from Beaufort Ink.
The initial purchases can be expensive due to having to buy the sundry items like bushes, drills etc but once bought it’s just the cost of the pen kits to pay.
The quality of the pen kits is fantastic and Beaufort service is second to none.
I will be buying many more kits from them.
The finished pens are beautiful.

Had some small issues with my recent order (my fault, in part). Phil called me and got some replacement parts out to me next day. Can't wish for better service than that.

Mine was a rather modest purchase, just a fine nib. As the item value was about ten quid I elected for plain second class postage. I was expecting a jiffy bag in about a week. I received a very well packaged protective box in a couple of days.
One suggestion, put a business card in the package.

Beaufort Ink..... not only are the parts and kits of superb quality but the sales and after sales service is outstanding. They have offered all sorts of help by email and when one of my first pens went wrong they were there to help and even supplied me with a replacement part that I damaged through my own fault. I cannot rate Phil and the company itself highly enough. They ooze integrity and good service as well as quality products. Buy from them, and you cant go wrong.
