Whangaui Bed Bath and Beyond have beautiful public relationship skills. Patience and concern, product and systems knowledge but beyond that they mitigate systems that are not workable for customers and make it work. They go out of their way for customers. Thanks Brenda and team. I am so appreciative. Online shopping can be daunting for pensioners like me. Having trust in personnel is everything. Your patient, understanding and highly competent. Love shopping with you all.
I bought a comforter through bed bath and beyond. They changed my credit card and I cannot access tracking. They have a texting option but the texting option is stuck on stupid and no help at all. There is no phone number. I did receive an email from them when I purchased the product but tracking dose not work. When I go into my account they state that I have no purchases to track but bed bath and beyond charged my credit card. WTF! I would recommend that you shop elsewhere.
Purchased a LR clock at 60+ dollars. Received-looks cheap. Contacted to return, they wanted over 1/3 of the original price to return it. Needless to say it’s going to Goodwill ☹️
I purchased to shelving units from Bed Bath and Beyond. One of the shelves was missing a part. I opened up a case with Bed Bath & Beyond. They said I would have an update in 1-3 business days. I never received an update, so a week later I called them. It took MULTIPLE attempts - sitting on hold for an hour+ each time - to FINALLY get someone on the phone. That person said, "Oh, we were just waiting on confirmation of whether you needed to 2 pieces or just one". The person said I would have a tracking number in 1 - 4 business days. Guess what... 4 business days go by and NO tracking number. So then I have to make ANOTHER round of multiple calls waiting hours on hold to FINALLY talk to someone. THAT person then gives me the EXACT SAME LINE ABOUT NEEDING CONFIRMATION ON HOW MANY REPLACEMENT PARTS I NEED! Says - again - it will take ANOTHER 1 - 4 days for a tracking number! I said no, I want a refund, but YOU will need to come to my home to pick up the shelving unit because it's too big for me to drop off. Guys says fine. Says UPS will contact me for a pickup time, but they won't issue the refund until 5 days AFTER they receive the item back. THEN I FINALLY get a follow up email with return instructions saying I will have to DROP THE SHELF OFF!!!! Which is impossible for me to do as I have no way of transporting it. Soooo aggravated!!! I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Bed Bath and Beyond again, and I suggest you do not either. Buyer beware if you do!
Literally the WORST customer service ever. I paid extra for a warranty and the warranty company keeps saying it’s a bed bath beyond issue. I have never had the runaround as bad as with them. They NEVER answer the phone and only text and when they don’t have an answer they just quite texting. I hope this place goes down!
I purchased an item that was cheaply made and poor quality. Bed Bath and Beyond took about $25 for the return shipping label. They don't except the return if you pay for your own shipping. It costs $6.99 to ship to me, but $25 to return back to them. Now I know why this company went out of business. Horrible return policy and horrible cheap products. Beware of purchasing from this company. They returned about 23 dollars out of the 60 dollar purchase.
⭐️ 1-Star Review: A Complete Disaster from Start to Finish
I purchased two recliners from Bed Bath & Beyond, and the entire experience has been nothing short of infuriating. The quality of the chairs was terrible—cheap materials, flimsy construction, and the instructions were so poorly written they were practically unusable. It felt like assembling a puzzle with half the pieces missing.
When I tried to return them within the stated return window, the situation somehow got even worse. I spent hours on the phone, bounced between departments, and given the same scripted runaround over and over again. Despite being fully within their own return policy, they flat-out refused to send return shipping labels. Every call ended with no solution, just more wasted time and frustration.
This company clearly has no interest in standing behind its products or supporting its customers. I will never purchase from Bed Bath & Beyond again, and I strongly recommend others avoid the headache altogether.
Bought gift card via email & never got an actual gift card # and emailed several times, no one got back to me at all & it was purchased 12/11/25 for a Christmas gift. Couldn't sign in it kept bringing me to sign in page over & over. Emailed them from the thank you email and got ignored since Dec 30th! Called many times after finally spending over 45 mins on hold the lady says we are unable to refund money as gift card went out. I was livid here it is Jan13th and they could conveniently issue me a gift card # & pin. Never again.
They sent two different color taps in one order. The products were of two qualities poor and very poor.
Return policy is paid returns if you are not a PAYING MEMBER and everythgn has to be sent to different warehouses though they arrived together.

The charge you 35$ for each return label even when you buy one package and they choose to ship it in different packages!! So I end up paying 70$ to return a purchased item! Ridiculous and there is no warning clearly stated on the homepage for all to see about this. Am sure it somewhere in a fine print you have to dig for.... crazy!!!
I will never buy anything from Bed Bath and Beyond again. I don’t understand why the government doesn’t shut it down. I bought something and received the wrong product. When I go to the site, the order isn’t even there. I can’t get through to customer service. I deviated from Amazon and I regret it. Horrible experience. Stay away from this company. I bought a coffee table and it ended up looking too small in my living room. When I tried to return it they told me I have to mail it back on my own. From New York to California. I asked if they would be kind enough to give me their FedEx discount then they could take it out of my refund. The biggest insult was the reply. Will give you $20 and you can keep it. I paid $100 for the coffee table and they were offering me $20 not to ship it back. I thought it would be very kind of them to give me the FedEx number and then I could reimburse them or they could take it out of my refund but instead they chose to insult me. This is disgusting customer service.
Ordered a small lampshade. Despite reading the measurements and measuring my lamp base, multiple times, it’s still slightly difficult to see exactly how the shade will sit and look, without actually seeing it on the lamp. After receiving it, I decided a slightly smaller size would work better, but when I went to start a return, I discovered that a pre-paid shipping label costs $20. That’s close to the cost of the shade itself. It’s not a large shade, and is very lightweight. They showed an option to ship it yourself, but when I selected that, it says that they do not accept returns, except with pre-paid labels. Why mislead the customer to even think that’s an option? I ship enough things, to know I could absolutely ship it back for less $20. It seems BB&B knows that too, and is trying to deter me from returning at all.
If I could have known before ordering, that it would be this expensive to return, I would have never taken the risk. I automatically assumed I could trust BB&B, because shopping at their retail locations, when I was growing up, was always fine. Wish I had taken a moment to check reviews of it now/in its online form.
Bed Bath & Beyond offers free shipping, but they do NOT provide free return shipping labels. If you need to return an item, you have to pay for return shipping yourself. This makes returns expensive and inconvenient. I warn buyers to be careful and avoid purchasing unless you are 100% sure you will keep the item.
The description is 2 items for each order. I ORDER 2, It should 4 items. If I want to return it cost more than it's price. This is totally SCAM. I will never buy again
Light showed up clearly returned once with damage to the box and damage to the light. They ask for pictures and agree about the damage then process a refund and end the chat. Now I get to box up, tape, print label, drive to UPS, and then wait until they inspect the item to get my money back. All this because they knowingly sent a returned item to a customer without specifying or sending through a reprocess to have sold again. Too many other places to buy from to deal with this again
