Scammers . Do not use !!!

Scammers ! I received a voucher to use Beer52. Before I even got to browse their pag ether wanted my email & a password. Surprised? After, they sign out automatically for a monthly expensive subscription, that you have no way of cancelling. When you go to Q&A there’s no info on how to cancel payment. Also I cannot delete my account now. It’s there forever. A scam and the lack of transparency is beyond ridiculous !!! Do not use ! You’ll never get rid of them

Brilliant guy

Brilliant guy I spoke to I was originally angry and left feeling happy that I got someone so understanding, I appreciated him being respectful when I phoned to cancel

Nothing but flimflam

Nothing but flimflam. The attractive introductory offer is clearly designed to lure you into signing up, but once that’s over, the service simply doesn’t offer good value for money.

The cancellation process is deliberately frustrating, taking you through multiple “Are you sure?” screens and layer after layer of discounts and special offers in an obvious attempt to wear you down. Then, after all that, you’re told you have to call during office hours just to cancel.

It’s an unnecessarily difficult and outdated process that feels intentionally designed to discourage customers from leaving. In my experience, it’s an underhanded business practice!!

A complete rip-off

A complete rip-off, and complaining or trying to get a refund gets you absolutely nowhere.
Beer was OK, wine was awful.

The nature of our wines is that from time to time you may receive some that are not ones you might usually drink, and while our wine experts always try their best to choose what they think our customers will enjoy, they can't always meet everyone's specific tastes. I can assure you that our wines are selected for their high quality. We work with and support our smaller vineyards, rather than larger productions. Our products are of the highest quality and we offer many products that aren't always available elsewhere.

You must cancel your subscription before your billing date. You can contact us by phone on 0131 285 2684, via Facebook Messenger or via our helpdesk https://www.beer52.com/helpCentre/home. If this was not done then at that stage we cannot offer a refund as the order has already been processed to our warehouse.

Great customer service

Great customer service.

I rang to cancel my subscription as I only wanted to use it for a one time deal, and although there was quite a wait on the phone to speak to someone when I did speak to someone they were great. There was no hard sell to keep me or telling me I couldn’t drop the subscription for 12 months just a nice guy explaining to me what deals were available if I chose to keep it my subscription for one more month. I walked away keeping it which is highly unusual for me.

Excellent Customer Service

Excellent Customer Service. My request to cancel was actioned immediately. The coffee was not to blame for my cancellation. It was very good. My health necessitates me giving up coffee, so sadly I had to cancel.

I was a member for years

I was a member for years, I've had numerous interesting beers for a fair subscription cost.
I've had to cancel due to a change in personal circumstances, bit of a faff to have to call during office hours (some of us aren't free during these times) instead of being able cancel online.
But Kaye was very polite and professional. I may be back in the future if my circumstances change again.
