The Apartment had 2 flights of stairs…
The Apartment had 2 flights of stairs which was very hard for a 89 & 87 year olds & another 63 year old with 2 knee replacements. Nowhere in the description of the Motel does it mention stairs. The dishwasher was very old & loud. The single beds were very very small & not suitable for adults in our opinions. Nowhere was there to hang wet towels, only one small rail for 5 towels. Two bedrooms had nowhere to hang clothes..
Very disappointed stay…Christchurch.

In the future, we kindly encourage you to book directly with our property, especially if you are traveling with individuals facing accessibility challenges. Not only would booking directly offer you the best price, but it would also enable us to accurately assess the suitability of the rooms for your specific needs. Sometimes, when reservations are made through online travel agents, certain essential room details, such as the presence of stairs in this case, may not be adequately conveyed. The website photos do clearly display photos of the stairs however so maybe you missed this.
For the reference of other readers, please also do remember that when you checked in and we noted the ages in your party, you were offered studio rooms (with no stairs) instead which you declined.
Regarding the towel rail concern, we acknowledge the need for improvement in this area. However, we would like to mention that you voluntarily declined room servicing for the entirety of your stay. If we had been given the opportunity to service your room, you would have received fresh and dry towels.
Once again, we apologize for any inconveniences caused and appreciate your feedback. We genuinely value your patronage and hope to have the chance to provide you with an improved experience in the future.

Home away from home.
Arriving at the motel and having the heater in the room already on, is something that doesn't happen that often. The service is second to none and you almost feel you are staying in your own home.

Bellavista Invercargill is amazing, very clean, beautifully presented rooms, great location and value for money. The service is amazing I travel a lot for work and have been staying here for 12 years and have never been disappointed Tracy and Scott really the value of happy customers they go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
