On 12 March and over the following three weeks, my experience with this company was very disappointing.
Only the back gutters of the house were cleaned initially. I sent them a video clearly showing that the upper front gutter had not been cleaned, yet I was still charged the full amount. They only addressed the issue with the front gutter after I posted my first review.
They did return once, but did not have the proper equipment to clean the front gutter and asked if I would accept them using a SkyVac system next time. I agreed, on the condition that everything would be cleaned.
Additionally, the person who cleaned the back gutters said that the roof was in good condition. However, just two days later, a builder took photos showing that several slates near the gutter had shifted.
The company then rescheduled the follow-up appointment multiple times, forcing me to call their office repeatedly. I requested a partial refund and informed them about the issue with the slates, but this was largely ignored. I was eventually offered just over one-third of the amount I had paid.
It’s also worth noting that I usually clean two of the back gutters myself, and the garage gutter is always clear. In reality, they only cleaned one upper gutter and a few small sections during the first visit.
At the end of March, another worker came. He was polite and conscientious and did his best, but he was unable to clean the entire gutter because one of the slates had shifted. As he explained, they only use a vacuum system and do not have a high ladder to properly access the area.
Would I use this company again? Highly unlikely. I’ve spent a significant amount of time chasing them and sending them reminders that they needed to bring a Sky Vac system, and now I need to hire roofers to fix the slates—who could have cleaned the gutters properly in the first place.
I only contacted them after receiving an advertisement through my letterbox while considering getting the gutters cleaned.

Bens Gutters carried some work out on our gutters this morning. Prompt, clean and tidy workmanship. Zenon was brilliant went above and beyond to clean the gutters. Five stars from me.

The whole service was as expected the technician was very professional and curious, showed before and after pictures and left no mess around the property he is a credit to you business.

Very happy with the service provided by Ben’s gutters and specifically Peter Sparks who was quick, thorough and very helpfully pointed out an issue with the roof. Would recommend Peter to others.

Young lad was friendly and efficient. He helped me to look around my property to see if there was a vent which didn't have a cover over it. He found a spare cover in my gutters and we looked for where it came from.
He was helpful.

Leon the operative arrived on time but on inspecting the property said he couldn’t clean the conservatory roof as agreed because it was a solid roof and could be damaged.On inspecting the rest of the property he said cleaning the cladding was not on his list again as had been agreed .Leon phoned the office to be told that the salesman had been looking at a neighbour’s house on Google Earth and not mine and that the job would now cost £70 more than quoted for doing less.Obviously this was unacceptable and after much “discussion “we agreed a price.One hour after arriving Leon started work.He was a hard working,conscientious and efficient worker as well as a polite and pleasant person.He did a good job.But for him this report would have been much worse.I have not received the refund due as yet.

Do Not Use!!!!! They are not the local company that they present themselves as being - they’re an overpriced big smash and grab company. A man attended - left a mess in the toilet (yes!!!); bashed his sky hoover around in the gutters causing breakage; was confrontational and passive aggressive when asked about aspects of the quality of work being carried out; refused to clean all gutters; was annoyed he had to make the effort to get a ladder (despite the website promoting that this was an aspect of the bespoke service) and the service team have failed to respond to email requests to see the pictures of the gutters.
They travel and cover long distances to clean gutters (hence the high price tag), but that is because once you’ve had them, you won’t have them back and so they have to go further afield for business. Do Not Use!!!

Very reliable, Reiss and two colleages arrived on time. The boys' were incredibly helpful to explain work to be carried out and were very respectful of my property. Fantastic work done, my roof was in a terrible state with moss, it now looks like it had a new roof. The Boys' took away buckets of dirt & moss, water sprayed windows and cleaned the whole area as if they were never there. I highly recommend Ben's gutters. True professionals, grafters, resonable price. Excellent work done and I'm absolutely delighted.

Booked easily and paid without issue. Person arrived in time as promised and did a great job. Showed me pictures of work carried out and took away all debris. Highly recommend.

He had his work cut out as not only did he have to clear out all the debris left by cowboy roofers which had clogged the downpipe but also took on the disgusting job of cleaning out all the pigeon crap, not a job many would take on! Many thanks for all your help mate!

The people I spoke to over the phone or face to face were all very pleasant and polite. They came and did the job within days (same week) which was brilliant. Kieron who came here was excellent. No mess, no damage, and so very polite. A lovely young man. Would highly recommend this firm.
