We visited Bensons for Beds in Croydon to choose a Zip and Link bed, and the customer service was outstanding. Ian was exceptionally friendly, took the time to understand our needs, and guided us through all the available options.

The next day, we needed to change the order to my husband’s name, and the process was incredibly smooth. It was such a refreshing experience to call the store, speak directly to someone knowledgeable, and get immediate help—rather than being redirected to a call center!

We hope the delivery goes just as smoothly.

Just had my mattress delivered by the nicest and most helpful staff - Veiga and Jack!! The mattress came already flat so didn't need to roll out and with limited packaging. They removed the plastic covering and took their shoes off when I asked as they were entering my bedroom which has carpet. So helpful. The delivery took about 5 months which was a painful wait, but the mattress delivery was 10 x easier than the previous mattress I had to return. I also have to give my gratitude to Alton who is the sales advisor at the Croydon purley way branch. He was so attentive to my needs. He was informative, took his time and helped me choose a mattress. Hopefully the mattress suits my needs.

Alton made choosing our bed an enjoyable experience due to his knowledge of the merchandise and many years experience. He was very professional and Advised us without being overbearing and pushy - thank you for your help and assistance

The customer service has been professional, patient and effective in giving me useful information about my purchase. The staff seems knowledgeable and aware of diversity when dealing customers with special needs. Well done Bensons. I appreciated the text messages confirming the completion of purchase and the progress of delivery which was spot on. The mattress has proven to be a very good buy both in price and comfort.

Great customer service by your staff

Our beds' motor broke, so HO agreed to replace and asked us to go to local shop to see replacement.
Alton at Croydon gave us great sevice, even tho there was 'nothing in it for him', and spent some hours arranging replacement which was a bit tricky because it was more expensive. He needed various 'sign offs' and persevered on our behalf.

The sales assistant was great. No hard sell. He just checked what we we needed and pointed us in the right direction. We didn't feel rushed at all . He just checked in with us now and again if we had any questions. Was very helpful and knowledgeable... and friendly !

Alton, at the Croydon branch was very helpful and gave great advice. I asked lots of questions and kept changing my mind and he stayed cheerful and patient.

We ordered two beds and two mattresses in January so that we would have them delivered in good time before I had my baby but the order was postponed twice. After a lot of chasing I had the frames delivered but not the mattresses as there was a manufacturing problem. I have twins sleeping on their cot bed mattresses on adult size bed frames. I’m still waiting on the mattresses which they say will be delivered after my baby is born. This is all stress I don’t need leading up the end of my pregnancy. The two stars is only because the in store staff have helped split the order into two and had the frames delivered.

In store person who served us was friendly, helpful and gave us time to decide which mattress we preferred.

Both delivery personnel were friendly, helpful and conscientious. Both a credit to Bensons.

The store was well presented and staff on hand however when the order was placed we were over charged for delivery and then told it was because the machine defaults to charging for multiple items being delivered. This is not acceptable and had I not previously been told the price on a prior visit and then reread the notice it would have gone ahead unchecked
It is not my job to check the details of delivery pricing and staff should do that as a matter of procedure

Shame about the delivery guy John who specifically quoted delivery between 1 and 1.30 pm but failed to arrive until 3.45 and thereby messing up our whole afternnon/ evening plans.

We were able to try out all the beds to find a best fit for us. No rush. No forcing us to buy.

Kelvin was a star. He greeted my sister and I and it really set the positive tone of my shopping experience. He had such patience as I tested out different Orthopaedic and extra firm beds. He gave sound advice, which aided me picking the right mattress for me, especially and I have experienced severe lower back pain for the past 5 years.
His customers service was brilliant. My other sister will be going there to buy her new bed, based on me sharing my experience.

The person who served me, Zaidu, was helpful and informative, explaining things to me when I asked questions. Even though there were other customers around, he was willing to take time with me, to ensure that I was happy with my final choice of mattress.
