The customer service was poor, despite telling the salesman that we need a small van to go through our driveway, the large lorry was sent, as a result the mattress was delivered one week later. The overall wait was 3 weeks. No apology not even a phone call to say sorry, absolutely nothing. For an expensive item like this the delivery cost should have been refunded. Will not recommend the company to anyone

We were looking for a double bed for my daughter and found Bensons to have a great selection. Once we chose the bed Hannah in Sales helped us find the right mattress for her, taking time and patience to make sure the correct one was purchased but not overwhelming us with too many choices. The sales team were all friendly and polite and Hannah was great!

A great experience from start to finish. Sales staff were knowledgeable but never pushy. Delivery team were excellent and delivered as scheduled. Our new beds are also just what we needed.

From walking into the Straiton (Edinburgh) showroom, I have had a great experience with Bensons. Kevin and Hannah in the showroom introduced themselves, answered my questions and allowed me time to try out mattresses. They were easy to chat with whenever I approached to ask questions. I bought a pure splendour mattress and, so far, it's perfect. The quality is the best.

Greeted very quickly by Hannah. Very professional and polite. Gave her a quick run down of what we were looking for.

Without hesitation brought over to mattresses that might be what we were looking for. A few alternatives just to compare and back to the original suggestion.

Managing all this with a 2 year old wasnt easy, Hannah was great and didnt let this phase her, distracting the wee man where needed and helping us to relax.

Good selection of beds and staff were very helpful. Bed was delivered and assembled on the agreed date. Updates and communication were good.

From the moment I walked in - greeted by Tom who helped me from then on. Already had a bed in mind and he showed me it, gave me 10-15 mins to think look and then came back to see if I needed more help. He showed me all different headboard option and was very very helpful. Even managed to knock off some money. Cannot recommend him enough and the team there. Very friendly guy.

From purchase to delivery, everything exceeded our expectations. In store, Peter guided us with great care in choosing the most suitable mattress for my back pain, and his advice was excellent. He also helped us select the bed, which was made by one of their external partners, and the quality is fantastic.

The delivery arrived earlier than expected, which made us so happy. Now we have a beautiful bedroom set with a stunning bed and an incredibly comfortable mattress. We couldn’t be more satisfied and would highly recommend Bensons for Beds.

I placed order A8435857 on 20/12/2025 at the Edinburgh Straiton branch.

According to Clause 4 of your Terms & Conditions, I have the right to cancel free of charge within 7 days. I contacted your Chat Support today (21/12/2025) to exercise this right.

Your agent, Michael, refused to process the cancellation, insisting I must contact the store directly. However, the store is closed until the New Year for the holidays.

By forcing me to wait until the store reopens, you are physically preventing me from cancelling within the 7-day penalty-free window. This feels like a deliberate trap to charge the 20% fee later. The agent refused to provide written email confirmation of my request despite me asking for it explicitly.

I have sent a formal cancellation notice to your enquiries email in accordance with Clause 17 of your T&Cs. I expect a full refund and confirmation immediately.
