We were allowed to test the mattresses without being bombarded by sales people. When we needed assistance the staff were very informative and helpful.

They were able to provide good information about the mattress and additional promotions that was not too obvious.

Overall it was a great experience!

Nicole was very informative and let us have the time and space we needed but was always there when we needed and made it a pleasant experience.

We were looking for a new mattress, I have a lower back injury and need a lot of support. We wanted to try different types of mattress to see what would work for me but also my husband. Bob greeted us and listened carefully to my needs, and recommended a number of mattresses to try, factoring in our budget. He was very knowledgeable, charming and helpful. We came away having learned a lot and bought a lovely Tempur memory foam mattress. First experience with Bensons and it couldn’t have been better, thank you Bob!

I ordered an in stock mattress on November 18th. Delivery scheduled for December 7th. 1 week before the delivery date we were told there’s a 3 week delay. New delivery date scheduled. 1 week before the revised delivery date we are told your order is now delayed by OVER 2 MONTHS!!!! New delivery date is the end of Feb 2024. For a standard mattress, no special modifications.

Having been bounced back and forth between the store and the head office customer services who both claim this is the others problem I’m eventually offered a refund of the delivery fee and a £69 ‘goodwill gesture’ refund on a £2400 mattress. That I may or may not get in February as I’ve now been messed around TWICE and wouldn’t be surprised if I get another casual text informing me of further delays.

Multiple stores can provide the exact same mattress sooner but, thanks to Bensons last minute delays (which they say are not their fault as the ‘middleman’ there are no chances of getting a delivery this side of Christmas. Bensons website still advises a faster delivery for the same mattress, which clearly isn’t true and will mislead more customers. I wish they had been honest with me from the start when they sold me an ‘in stock’ item, or at least warned me this might have been a possibility so that I would’ve had more time to make alternative arrangements.
