Absolutely awful. Bought a 5 door civilly wardrobe with custom shelves and 2 bedside tables. Delivered on the 20th November with the wrong doors so I now have 2 smoked glass doors and 1 plain door which looks ridiculous. The wrong size shelves arrived and there was damage identified by the fitters to a bedside table which required a full frame replacement. All was noted down in the paperwork to replace asap and they would be in touch with a date. Today I had a phone call about a refund from bensons customer service for the shelves, I told them I want the shelves not a refund and was told that the Manchester store had cancelled the replacement shelves and decided to refund me without even bothering to ask and had no clue on the door and bedside table issues either. So I called the store who do have that information but don’t know why they cancelled the shelves. Now I have to either wait to find out what hassle and hoops I need to pass to get what I actually ordered or organise a full collection and refund and the hassle of having no bedroom furniture over the Christmas period and probably many weeks afterwards due to delivery lead times. This order has been a total disaster. If I press for the refund and they decide to apply the 20% cancellation fee I will take them to small claims court - they haven’t delivered what was asked for and that’s not my fault. I’ll update the review as necessary as time passes with what happens next but for now all I can say is I wouldn’t recommend large or complex orders with bensons. The bed frame order with a different branch went smoothly and I was happy with that but a custom wardrobe - I’d look elsewhere to be honest.

A very positive in store experience with salesman Tony. The range of options was extensive with clear pricing and discounts available.
Taking our order, Tony put us under no pressure and was helpful, polite, informative and clearly explained the process.
When we had to amend our order a few days before delivery we were able to sort everything out seamlessly by phone. Top class customer service again.
The delivery was exactly as stated, with reminders in advance, it was on time and the delivery men were efficient and polite.
Very impressed with this experience and would definitely recommend Bensons.

Purchased a new bed on 16th November at White City - Jake was amazing, really informative and the whole staff were really friendly. My husband is very hard to impress but he agrees that the service was superb and we had a good laugh with all the staff. Would give 6 stars if I could!

We already had an idea of which two mattresses we wanted to try out due to the help we recieved from Stewart on the Live Chat the night before. Stewart had already produced two quotes which we took into the shop and were met by Jake. He showed us where the two mattresses we wanted to look at were within the store but also suggested a mattress we'd never have otherwise have considered (Tempur Pro Plus Smartcool Mattress) which is not the coil spring mattress type we've always had. We actually preferred the Tempur once we had tried lying down on it in the shop so bought that. Jake was very respectful of the fact that it was Stewart who had been our first point of contact and the reason we came into store and so the managers of both sales assistants were made aware that it had been a joint effort in order to service us. Overall so far a very good experience. Product is being delivered 10/11/25 with a 40 day sleep trial so if we just do not get on with the new mattress we can exchange it. We paid a bit extra to have our old mattress removed/recycled and the delivery charge for the new mattress includes delivery to a room of our choice so they'll take it upstairs.

Pleasurable experience From our first website enquiry to the final delivery . The in-store sales advisor was brilliant and made us feel reassured throughout our discussions. We had a video call with Shalmina who made choosing the right bed so much easier, and we were kept well informed at every stage to ensure the room measurements were accurate. On delivery day, the tracking system helped us plan our time perfectly, and both delivery team Andy and James were professional, helpful and friendly, offering great advice on the best way to assemble the bed. In my opinion we had an enjoyable superior service.

We recently bought two large wardrobes, two double ottoman bed frames, two chest of drawers and two bedside tables from Bensons for Beds, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff were friendly, patient and helpful, making it easy to choose exactly what we needed for our new home.

The quality of the furniture is excellent, and the prices were very reasonable for what we received. The whole process, from advice to purchase and arranging finance as well as delivery and fitting, was smooth and stress-free.
