Ordering from Bergzeit.dk, I'd misread information on the website which resulted in an issue with an order. I contacted customer service about it, and they went out of their way to solve it for me. They didn't need to, as it was my mistake, but they helped me out regardless which I really appreciate.

Excellent Service. I always got my orders in perfect conditions delivered. No issues if I needed to return an item or 2. One of my favorite onlineshops and the best ist they have real shops too. Proper mountenieering equipment and a great collection of woolen products.

I have read the reviews and decided to trust Bergzeit and order a jacket even though there were few negativ reviews which were mostly linked to dhl... I did well, I received the jacket in 3 days as advertised, and this jacket was only available on this website !!! and it was on sale !!! So a very positiv experience, i will order again ;-)

I bought €150 folding carbon ski poles in October at the Bergzeit location near Gmund/Tegernsee before the second corona lockdown. During the lockdown in January, one pole broke from normal use (the screw mechanism that holds the parts together just gave out). I tried to contact Bergzeit to arrange an exchange. It was impossible to reach anyone by phone or in the online shop to arrange something. Finally, I went to the closed Bergzeit store near Gmund Tegernsee and knocked on the door. An employee came to the door, but refused to open it and speak with me. I explained the situation through the glass door and she refused to do anything at all and just repeated that the store is closed. If I am going to be treated like this in a warranty case, I am better off shopping online in the future, and not from Bergzeit.

Have purchased several items with no issues. What I find frustrating is the search options on the website. Searching for 'winter hosen' should be easy, german site obviously! Search results over 6000 items - includes the same item in various colours, walking boots, rucksacks etc.etc. Surely this can be improved - its easier to use competitors websites to browse - then see if bergzeit can deliver.

I ordered a jacket as a Christmas gift for my husband for 160 euro. And up until now, I haven't got my order 😔 it's very sad that I had nothing to gift him. I tried multiple times to call them, no one was there to pick up my call. Sent them mails asking about the order, they only replied to me with some automated email. Tracking my order, it says my order was damaged during the delivery, I just want to know when it's going to come. Is it going to come at all? Or if I can cancel and get my money back and look for something else elsewhere. It's very disappointing. 160 Euro ist not little money for a student like me.. I feel scammed 😔

scammers, at least those from Europe. Toked my money 2 months ago and I haven't received nothing till this moment. AVOID THEM !!!

I ordered a pair of la sportiva crossover 2.0 gtx boots from Berzeit, the boots arrived no problem a few days later, first time out with them they leaked water, (supposed to be waterproof) when I tried to contact Berzeit by phone and email, no response, so very disappointed that I'm left with a £150 pair of boots that are useless for wet muddy snow conditions! La sportiva customer services need to have a good look at themselves also, won't be using any of them again.

Ordered a pair of boots from them. Shipping and returns aren't free for Sweden (which is something you won't easily spot on their bergzeit.se website) so when I had to return them because they were too small the attempt to buy boots became ridiculously expensive (33 euro just to send them back). Will definitely avoid in the future.
EDIT: Thanks for the quick reply. What really bothered me was that I bought the products from Bergzeit.se but the return address is to Germany. Hope this is made more obvious before the checkout process in the future.

Bergzeit responded to my request for the status of my order by telling me that none of their employees have any information on this and not to contact them. It has been a week since I placed the order and transferred the amount to their bank account. I will wait for another couple of days but will be cancelling my order by the end of this week if the situation continues.

The website provides information about the cost of delivery. I have no information found about the cost of returning the goods. Once bought any product, you have to return the goods and pay for international shipment. In my case, more than 10 euro. Be aware of it.
