Was totally satisfied with the bank service. Very helpful, ready to get in touch with you at any time. Especially want to say many thanks to Keziban Kalin, who was extremely friendly, helpful and nice. Would advise this bank to every student who comes to Berlin for studying.

Do NOT open a bank account in this bank. First of all, they will charge you for both the account and the credit card, while you can get them for free in other banks in Germany.
Second, their staff are not helpful at all. They sometimes say something which is against what's written on their website!!
And third: they discriminate without any reason to back up. This has already happened to me. They chose to give a service to my friend, but not to me, while we both have a similar condition (working in Germany, with permanent residence, and a stable salary)
I am moving away from them.

Abusive People who are us Ing this Bank and criminals

Bank from the last century. Very poor apps and internet banking. Slow to clear payments (days). Monthly charge for a current account. Very difficult to close the account - they needed to pay the balance precisely, which it turns out is only possible in the Alexanderplatz filiale. When I went to my local filiale they literally told me without humour that it was impossible to pay or accept any money (cash or card) to settle the account. My whole day was wasted travelling around Berlin, waiting in queues, trying to close this account.

Will not let me access my money or close my account.

Avoid this bank If you dont belong to a blacklisted nationality (some nationalities cannot have accounts in any German bank but Sparkasse).
Just because I don't have a savings account at Sparkasse, I got 82% in their Schufa evaluation, and I have been client at the bank for over 10years and never went in minus in my account, including last 5 years having my monthly salary paid in the account. Thanks god I have n26 account where I scored 97% and I dont even get my salary paid there.

I am closing this account asap and can totally recommend everyone to do it. Paying 3euros a month for services you never need, and if you ever needed it you get bad advice...

Terrible bank with horrible service and broken promises. The bank is stuck in the 17th century and is drowning in red tape. They have almost destroyed our company due to freezing our bank account and then refusing to be accountable for their own mistakes.

The bank blames everyone but themselves. Avoid them at all costs. They are easily the worst bank in the world, never ever trust them

Far from what you can expect from a bank.
