I booked a flight 5 months in advance at a cost of $169.00 per their site. I received a phone call that evening from a young man in India who I simply could not understand. He kept repeating that I needed to pay $200 or $400 to get my ticket booked. I told him that I could not understand him and that I needed to speak to someone who was more fluent in English. The second young man was SLIGHTLY more fluent. He said that the flight was overbooked and I needed to pay more for the flight. So my ticket was now $ 250.99 - NOT the $169.00 appearing on their website. If I did not agree to the additional cost, I would lose my original $169.00. I feel like this is a bait and switch tactic to extort more money from people using this site. I can assure you that I will not be using this site again. How can a flight be overbooked 5 months from now ??!!

Worst Website and Customer Service (Specially Daniel and Marcus)! Stay Away from them. I booked my flight online with bestairfares.com and received a call the Later day because the flight was no longer available but same ticket is showing on their website at same rate. Fraudulent Website and People.

I was originally quoted a price. It sat at the Pending Stage for 2 days. I then received a call from Bestairfares.com telling me that the Airline was not honoring the advertised price. But....this was my lucky day, he said. For another 100 dollars, I could confirm the two tickets and upgrade my seats. They also GUARANTEED the airline would honor this rate. Now, Tomorrow, September 26th, My Brother and I are scheduled to fly to Boise, Idaho for my Nephews wedding. Parking reservation at Airport, Hotel Reservations in Idaho and last but not least, Car reservation. These all have 24 hour cancellation notice. Since I just found out that I was SCAMMED by Bestairfares.com, I am not going to be at the Wedding nor is my brother but we are also out a substantial amount of money. I hope you all choke on whatever you purchase with the money you scammed me for. I also hope the last thought you have while your choking is this review. KARMA is a Bit>ch.

Absolutely a bait and switch scam. Tickets with taxes and fees 287 round trip for two an hour later we get a call from some Indian call center by Gregory saying oh we got this deal for 386 but only showed for one passenger when I started question said price he said it was standby with only personal item no carry on no luggage. When I questioned him he got overly aggressive. 1000000% a bait and switch scam now I hope my credit card information wasn’t just stolen. I hate loser scammers

We had nothing but problems from originally purchasing the tickets to issues at every airport we flew out of. I originally booked one flight for the family through American , fortunately I added the insurance and then they called me saying the flight through American was not available and changed everything to United which ended up costing me more money. It appears you get the insurance when you purchase the tickets and then the company takes that money to change your flight when they are selling something they don't have.
I thought because I was directed there from KAYAK they were reputable, but they really were not. I would never use this company again. I would actually give them 0 stars

I bought a ticket from Sacramento to Oslo Norway. I read all the rules regulations and restrictions to the fare. They scammed me. They told me I cannot bring any luggage except a small purse enough to fit my wallet passport and credit cards, that they can move cancel my flights , no online check in my flighs. Nowhere in the rules , regulations and restriction were these mentioned. I told the agent the rules and restriction printed in my reservation, he insisted all I for is there. They emailed my Itinerary with no name booking number and how much I paid. On top of that , the itinerary that they sent were not even the the flights I reserved. They were completely different flights. The agent Jimmy Paige was rude and condescending. Don’t Use them. They are scammers. I filed a dispute with my credit card .

Think before booking!!!!
Business class with no luggage, no seat, no food and it was not highlighted when you’re booking. Be safe call costumer service, chat and email before booking so you won’t be involved in a hellish situation.

I booked a business class ticket through BestAirFare and had a deeply frustrating experience that I feel compelled to share.

Before purchasing, I checked the BestFare website, which stated that two bags were included in the fare. The details were unclear, so to be absolutely sure, I called their customer service. The agent I spoke to—Spenser—confirmed that “20kg each is included for business class.” At no point did he say that this was only for hand luggage. Honestly, who is expected to travel with a 20kg carry-on?

Trusting that confirmation, I went ahead and booked the ticket. After purchase, I noticed the receipt didn’t mention any checked baggage. I contacted customer service again and was told that checked luggage isn’t included and I would need to pay extra—despite having explicitly confirmed the bag information in advance. Worst no food and seat and will add again if wanted to- To think that it is a 16+hrs journey I would assume that it will be explicit on their website when booking.

To make matters worse, when I spoke with another representative (Andy), he put the blame on me, saying it was my responsibility to verify the policy. Andy said he’d look into it and get back to me, but there’s been no follow-up, no resolution—only a suggestion that I pay more if I want the extras (luggage, food and seat)

And since the ticket is non-refundable, I’m now stuck in a situation I never would’ve agreed to if I had been given correct and transparent information.

For a business class booking, this kind of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and poor customer service is completely unacceptable. What seemed like a good deal through BestAirFare turned out to be a costly, stressful and the worst booking experience.

I will report this issue to appropriate agencies so the Bestairfare will rectify the booking procedure so this situation will not happen to anyone.

I won’t be using BestAirFare again—and I strongly recommend others think twice before trusting the information they provide.

Fraudulent business practices. Avoid !!! I tried to book 3 air tickets to India with Bestairfares in February 2025. The agent, an Indian guy using false English names including Andrew, Aaron, Spencer and so on.He sent an invoice and trip itinerary it stated that no baggage is allowed so I got on the phone to him and said I could make my own arrangements with the baggage he said I must also sign a consent for the booking to go smoothly. The consent was rather shocking: No baggage allowance, no meals, no seat allocation, no cancellation, no priority boarding and transit is on our own risk. To avoid any of this, I must pay an extra £200 p/p each way on top of £1547. I asked him not go ahead with the booking but he just hung up on me. A week later, he charged my credit card £1547 using Bookmyflights a different travel agent unknown to me but never sent the tickets and invoice. This guy also keeps changing his companies house registered address. I strongly believe he’s not a UK registered business but abroad . I rebooked my tickets with another travel agent to complete my trip. On my return to London I asked my credit card company to get my money back . Never trust this Bestairfares or Bookmyflights and the same Indian guy using false English names. None of the above conditions were stated before the booking .

Scam scam please do not book with them. They will make excuses to get more money off you or they will cancel your ticket and not give you a refund.

I booked a flight with Best Air Fares (Book My Flights - Company No. 15675511) and paid £1,500. They later canceled my ticket without my consent and then demanded more money to rebook it! When I requested a refund, they tried to charge a £350 per person "cancellation fee" even though THEY canceled the booking.

Their tactics are fraudulent and misleading. They pressure you into extra payments and make false claims about "upgrades." When I contacted the airline directly, they confirmed that my ticket had been voided by Best Air Fares, not by me.

I have reported them to Action Fraud UK, Trading Standards, and my bank for fraud. If you have been scammed by them, I strongly recommend filing a complaint and requesting a chargeback.

⚠️ Avoid this company at all costs! Book directly with the airline or a reputable travel agency.

I wish if I would have read the reviews before booking with this FRAUD website. Clearly it was written checked in baggage with Air India, while booking. When I called a unprofessional and rude customer care man, who get scared and refused to give me his name said I will be charged £190 on the top for baggage. In the end he hung up on me, when I asked his name. Please Beware of these type of FRAUD companies who gives you best prices to trap you and then charge you for baggage.

FRAUD!!! Terrible experience with them. I purchased 2 Jet Blue tickets with them and also purchased the protection plan for a booking refund if for any reason our trip had to be cancelled. I received an email after booking the flight to contact them as the transaction was still pending and I needed to confirm with my reservation number. Called them and was told the flight is no longer available for that price and that they had to cancel my purchase but would be charging me for the protection plan fee of $141 since I was using that service to change or cancel my tickets. WHAT??? They cancelled it (if it even really existed) and are trying to still charge me the money for the protection plan. Why would they have the flights available on their site for purchase if they truly weren't available. All a big scam, absolutely steer clear of them!!!

Very disappointed with Bestairfares. After booking a Kuwait Airways flight that clearly had 2 pieces of check-in luggage included (which I have proof of in the form of a screenshot), I was surprised to receive an email asking me to accept terms which stated no luggage or meals were included.

To rub salt into the wound, they then informed me that I would need to pay an extra £920 to have check-in luggage and a meal included! This is outrageous, and even more so since the flight hadn't been reserved.

This is a blatant attempt to extract more money from the customer. This is deceptive, unprofessional, and totally unacceptable.

I strongly advise others to avoid Bestairfares if you expect honesty and transparency. Do not fall for these tricks!
