I spoke to her again about a week later, she confirmed what I wanted was in stock and took my order over the phone. Bought a Canon Powershot SX210is from these guys and bought it as a bundle with a case, 4gb card and small desktop tripod. Excellent value bundle. Great communication getting an email for each part of the process - invoice, when order had been processed then details of who they sent it with so you could track it. They sent it by courier so much better then waiting for Royal mail. ordered it at 1.13pm and got the bundle the next afternoon. Fantastic - well packaged. Camera (Panasonic Lumix FS10) was out of stock on order (perhaps an indication of the success of this company). Notified of next expected date of supply and informed of dispatch and delivery, what more can you ask.

I am always disappointed when, having ordered something over the internet and completed the transaction, I am told by the company that the item I ordered is not in stock.This was what happened when I ordered a Fujifilm HS10 on Monday 10/8/10, but give Bestcameras their due, they did tell me that they were expecting a delivery soon and indeed my camera was delivered on Thursday 12/10/10. So no real complaint there.

However, I ordered an upgrade to a Fuji case thinking it was one which would suit the HS10. Not a bit of it; so now I have a case which is no good to me. So yes, a genuine complaint there, especially as I have now had to order a case from Fuji themselves.

I rung enquiring about Panasonic Lumix FS10. Unfortunately they were out of stock but informed that they should be getting more the following week. I rung again but those that had come in had gone straight out to orders that had already been taken. I then ordered online (knowing that more would be in stock the following week). Received email telling me that camera was out of stock and would I like to choose another camera. I waited a few days and received email saying they were now in stock and despatched, and that I would receive it the next day, giving me the name of the carrier.

I am extremely pleased to say that it arrived by carrier this morning. First class service PLUS a 3 year warranty! I was recommended to Best Cameras through a friend and will have no hesitation passing on the good word.

This is the 1st time that I have used this company after finding them via a google search and they have been first class!!!
I had to phone to check something out and was completely satisfied with the friendly helpful manner that I received.
Went on to order a camera on Monday and it was here the following day just after lunch :-), VERY well packaged also.
I am VERY pleased overall with my product and the service that this company provided.
I did read all of their web site details and they certainly keep to their word on how customers should be treated.
I would strongly advise anyone that is looking to purchase a camera or any other product that they sell, to check them out before they buy from elsewhere!

and offered me choice of pick again or wait while in stock.I waited while in stock and they informed me that it had been dispatched.Delivery Company then mailed
me tracking info.Great prices and good communications cannot be beat.

Can highly recommend this company. We ordered a Panasonic Lumix which was unfortunately out of stock, but once it was in, it was delivered the very next day. Importantly the price was good, and the guarantee period excellent.

Ordered canon ixus 210 Tuesday 3rd 08.30, delivered 11.00 Wednesday4th how good is that!!

Ordered the extras with the camera I bought, but the wrong battery was sent, girl on phone was rude and unhelpful. They sent a new battery but arrived too late as daughter had left the country for a year, they refused to sent out new battery other than 2nd class post and if I wanted it sooner, I would have to pay, which I refused as it was not my fault. I have asked for a refund of the battery and postage, but they are disputing cost of battery and postage costs. I wish I had never bought the camera from Best Cameras, be warned...stay away.
