Best of Suffolk Reviews 

Family weekend in beautiful family home. Lovely wood burner in the lounge lit each evening , we all sat around it playing board games. The one downside was that the weather was cold which meant the rooms in the roof felt cold even with the heating on, this wouldn’t stop me booking here again though. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Suffolk.

I enjoyed my stay in this lovely cottage conveniently situated between the beach and town. I arrived late in the evening and found the cottage warm and inviting. I was particularly impressed by the fluffy towels and the ease with which I found the utensils to cook breakfast the next morning. I also enjoyed sitting in the garden in the late afternoon. A delightful stay

St Margaret’s cottage was lovely very clean and good facilities. We were very comfortable there for the week. We were walking the Sandlings path from Ipswich to Southwold and this gave us a good base. I would recommend this cottage to others to stay in.

Very nice house and garden, in a lovely quite village. Beds extremely comfortable, house immaculately clean. Local pub good, with entertaining young goats in the beer garden. Great walk from the house down Minesmere River to coast then North for loop around RSPB Nature Reserve. Eels Foot pub on route very good. Local shop very good and the metal architecture a bit furher up the road. Village a mile north Westleton has good store shop, cafe, post office, garage and pub. Pub is really nice decor and garden/conservatory, unfortunately food was a rubbish, steak tough/inedible half the watercress was yellow!! But Suffolk has an amazingly varied wild countryside and coast, great.

No problems at all with anything including the accommodation and the booking process. Can’t comment if there had been but as it is I would recommend Best of Suffolk and will use them in the future.

Nightmare experience trying to book with this company. As many other genuine reviews have indicated, the abysmal conduct and attitudes of staff (I dealt with three different employees) has been so horrific that it was impossible to continue with the booking. They have held onto the full booking fee (over £2k) and so further action is now underway to recover losses. Research into reviews of this company is highly recommended and something I would usually do first - alas this was a last minute booking and the positive reviews naively trusted.

I have used Best of Suffolk on a number of occasions and they never fail with a smooth booking (and follow-up) system. The two cottages I have stayed in have been as excellent as Best of Suffolk have advertised. On the odd occasion I have had to call the office, the staff are always courteous and helpful.

Lovely property in beautiful Aldeburgh. Great location. Easy parking. Accommodation was clean, well equipped, had plenty of space, and a bonus to have a garden!

Always great at Lapwings. The house is comfortable and clean. We’ve been many times and this was extra special after a bereavement- quiet and relaxed. Lots of walking and a well equipped kitchen to cook our food

Easy booking process, and a good selection of cottages to choose from. Dog friendly cottage availability was important for us and they helped us to find a cottage for the dates we had in mind.

The property was great, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The beds were especially comfy!
