It is a standard gym, but there’s way too many cardio machines, almost the entire gym is cardio machines. Also, there’s only one smith machine 😭, it’s always a fight to get it. Also, I’m 18 and almost every session a staff member asks me if I’m above the 16 which is very annoying.

I get to have fitness classes
I get to have fitness classes, swimming, gym with my package which is a great thing. First time doing pilatte, barre feet, circuit fittness classes. It breaks the monotomy of doing gym alone. Plus the classes are fabulous!

Gym has become unpleasant now
Agree with other comments re bags and coats in the gym. There's now a big sign as you walk into the gym but, like before, the staff don't enforce even at the busiest times. I've heard other people complaining that it's leading to friction between customers when people use bags or coats to "reserve" equipment. There's lockers right outside so I dont get what's so hard for the staff to direct people to them.

Nearly fights in the gym
Agreed with a mate today that we should both write a review about the gym and the issues with people using bags to reserve equipment. It's really annoying and they have signs up saying not to bring them in but they let people do it anyway. There's a particular person who always seems to be on duty around 5 pm and she just completely ignores it. It's like how people use towels to reserves spaces by pools at cheap hotels. We've had to step in before (peacefully, with words) to defuse arguments before they get out of hand because the staff clearly don't give a damn.
***Following response, I'll add I doubt we'll hear anything as we previously emailed the centre directly to complain and never even got an acknowledgement..
***2nd update. Still heard nothing back from the gym. When we raised our concerns with reception, they told us to email in. I said we did and that we'd not heard anything, so we're told "there's nothing we can do". We've cancelled our memberships and are going to a competitor instead.
