Better - Gosling Sports Park Reviews 

The kids had a brilliant time and Daisy was very helpful and kept checking we had everything we needed!

My daughter enjoyed her 6th birthday at the trampoline park. Communication in advance with Zoe was excellent and our host on the day was great. She got us into the trampoline park very efficiently and made sure we had everything we needed in the party room. Facilities are modern and clean, and everyone had a great time.

Excellent staff support for a trampoline birthday party, clean facilities, happy & tired kids by the end.

The staff were so helpful on my first day! So friendly. I’m so glad I joined!! The gym is clean and so are the showers.

My daughter had a class party at Gosling Trampoline and Play park which was fantastic and enjoyed by all.
The communication was seamless throughout and everyone was so helpful on the day. The party room was clean and spacious.
We had the option of playing music in the room which was nice when the kids were eating and our party host was lovely! She was great with the kids and even helped us when the pizzas arrived!
The children all really enjoyed the trampoline park, there’s definitely more for older children in the arena comparing it to other trampoline parks..
They were also allowed bottles of water in the arena too which was great as they were all very hot and red faced from running around 🥵
Overall a great experience had by all!

We had a trampoline party for my daughter's 6th birthday. The party went smoothly and the kids loved it. The party room was clean, modern and a good size. The member of staff looking after our party was very helpful, bringing us an extra table and jugs of water. It's pretty expensive considering you have to do all your own food but the kids had a good time. I forgot to bring a knife to cut the cake and could not borrow one from the cafe. Eventually I took the cake there and was able to cut it in the kitchen, but top-tip: take a knife and everything else you need because nothing is supplied.

We had a trampoline party at Gosling. Very helpful booking team - Zoe Neary was excellent as I had loads of questions! Everything was on time, efficient and really clean! The arena itself was brilliant, all the children enjoyed it and that was ages between 4 and 10 - something for everyone. Party rooms are really nice and spacious. The only thing to improve would be to offer a food package as part of the party. Also there is only one toilet in the trampoline area, we spent a lot of time queuing!

Excellent customer service, efficiently run and very friendly.

During my recent visit, I encountered the following issues in the spa and shower areas:

Cleanliness and Maintenance:
The spa area was notably dirty, with grime and dust throughout.
The showers are affected by severe limescale build-up, with glass doors that appear unclean, and visible mould on the shower tiles.
Lockers are unhygienic, with dust and dirt on the inside, while spider webs can be found throughout the area.
The floors throughout the spa area are dirty and unswept.
Facilities in Disrepair:
There are two broken steam rooms, and the cold-water shower in the spa area is non-operational.
The sauna is improperly sealed, revealing a plasterboard that detracts from the experience. Additionally, the wood needs sanding, which presents a potential safety hazard.
The ceiling extractor fan has visible burn marks, indicating potential electrical concerns.
These conditions were so off-putting that I felt uncomfortable and ultimately decided not to return. I find the level of maintenance not only below acceptable standards but also a potential health and safety issue. Given that this gym is council-owned, I am particularly concerned about the apparent lack of oversight in maintaining standards that are safe and sanitary.

I paid+displayed but was issued with a parking ticket anyway. I had to spend more time appealing than I spent at the facility - including having to physically print+post evidence (which cost almost as much as I paid for parking). I explained my situation to Better but they deflected responsibility and didn't commit to improving. Better appoints the car park operator so are responsible for their conduct.

The ski team are fantastic. Really helpful, polite and have professional instructors.

The park is great and has just been recently revamped. The kids loved it and we will come back. Only one minor observation, in the party rooms, there was a tv with no remote. It would have been nice to have some background music on for the short time the kids are silent when eating

Great location and amenities within the centre for soft play party. Minor downside was lack of awareness of booking at reception and party room got very stuffy so had to prop open the door with a bench.

Trampoline Party

As per another review we also had a trampoline party on 6th October for my 8 year old.

In the pre party information we were told they would provide water but on arrival were also told they only had one jug for the water and the other party were using it!! In the end, they provided a cup of water for each child from the cafe, but it came very late on and the children were hot and thirsty from jumping.

There was no bin in our party room but was one in the party room next door.

The door in and out of the trampoline area is a problem. You have to to wait for a member of staff to open the door and this proved problematic when the children needed to go to the toilet or an adult needed to leave for whatever reason. Surely should have some kind of child lock but not adult proof.

Also was only one toilet and the hand dryer was not working. When my husband asked and was directed to some other toilets there was no toilet roll!

We were also told on the day that you cannot light a candle in the party room!

The party host tried to be accommodating and help, but I wouldn’t want to organise a party there again, it was not worth £7 extra per child and no food provided, just individual bounce is ok.

The jumping facilities are great and the children did not really notice any of the issues but from the parent point of view who had paid £300 we were very disappointed and left unhappy.

Just had a trampoline party for 9 years old.
Was told they only got one jug for the water and it was shared with several party rooms. In the end, they provided a cup of water for each participant, then jug finally arrived at my party room much later.

Have to to wait for them to open the door everytime if one wants to go to toilet from the party room.

Also was just told on the day that you cannot lit or blow a candle in the party room!

The staff were great. We attended the day before to ask a few questions and see the party room and they were very informative and helpful. The party room itself is clean and spacious. The jumping area is great, it's changed a lot in the year or so since we last went and there's a lot for kids to do for the hour of jumping. It would have been useful to have some means of playing music in the party room but other than that I can't fault it!

The first impression was the girl on the till not very helpful when it came to buying my padlock. She first of all said they didn't sell them. Then when I said I'd been told they did she got one out and gave it to me!
I to went to the changing room and found it very anti-social. When I got to the pool there was no shower by the pool to clean. Maybe, I didn't see it. So all in all not a good start

I like the gym and equipment there and variety of saunas. Pool is not very big, no lanes for swimming. Amazing masseuse lady in the spa area. lots of tennis courts (not cheap) and sessions. tennis paddle court and lessons available too. great trampoline, soft play for kids. ski dry slope as well! lots on activities in one place!

We had a birthday party for 15 ten-year-olds past Saturday and it was a tad stressful I have to say.
First of all, when booking I didn't have a choice of a smaller party, I had to pay for 15 bouncers minimum which came to nearly £300 which I found expensive.
An empty room was provided to us (party room number 2) which is behind the locked doors. Every time we needed to come out to get something from outside /car, cafe/, we had to knock furiously for the staff to notice us to come and open the door from outside. It took a few minutes on some occasions. I believe the temp code could have been provided to the party host at least so going in and out would have been easier.
Nothing apart from jug of water was provided to us so you had to come well prepared.
After bouncing, we had 45 min in the party room, however we had enough chairs for the kids only and the parents had to stand in the corridor for 45 min while the kids were eating.

The staff came to check in on us a few times however at the end, they suggested that we should clear the room before our 45 min was up. It might have been difficult to do that as I needed to go out with some party guests to make sure they are picked up by the parents and wait with them outside. If I had not had help with me, it could have been a struggle to manage time wise.
I found the whole experience too expensive and not the right value for money. I don't think I would do it again.
