I had a gym induction at Hammersmith
I had a gym induction at Phoenix, was so disappointed with it, so l decided to go to Hammersmith branch, where lm having a 6 week physio course. I then decided to have another Gym induction with Elias, who was absolutely brilliant, engaging and knowledgeable, he spent nearly an hour with me, teaching me what equipment l should use as l have a lower back issue. Thank you Elias for you support and patience.

Great PT, good gym
I joined this gym because Jermaine is a fantastic PT. The facilities are really good and the staff are lovely and helpful, especially Klaudia and Naz. It genuinely feels like a great community to be part of. The gym is clean and very well equipped.

Hammersmith I think is the best one…
Hammersmith I think is the best one I’ve been to compared to Kensington, Phoenix and Wembley. This is because of Elias and Ebony (we love these two!!). We’ve been members for more than a year now. Me and my sister even go to other centres for her classes as her yoga and Pilates practice aligns with ours. Meanwhile, Elias’ classes are always so fun! I’ve attended most of his classes including the HYROX style circuits which i hope to be a permanent class! Also Please make Ebony’s sound baths to be permanent too!
In general even if this centre is smaller than others, it’s the staff and teachers that makes a lot of difference!

Hydrox Training!!!
Absolutely loving the new Hydrox Style classes being offered at Hammersmith, it's nice to see Better being brought in to the 20th century!! What would be great is if centres became proper Hydrox training sites and staff got accredited!!! Elias is fantastic at what he does and the community, people like him build!!!

Great experience in Willow’s classes
Just had a great experience in Willow’s class! He was substituting in the HIIT and Functional Fitness classes and did a fantastic job. He had a really warm personality and mad the classes fun! He took the time to explain what he was doing and why it would benefit us. I really appreciated that. I was hoping he’d be our permanent trainer- everyone was happy with him. Hope to take another class with him soon

Arrived at Hammersmith gym where I have…
Arrived at Hammersmith gym where I have been going for years and the miserable receptionist who doesn't understand that you should smile and greet members, told me my membership was cancelled. I spoke with him about it last week and he said it was all fine, but not today for some reason. I then had to ask him to re-instate it and had to pay 25% extra for a joining fee! He then refused me entry for today unless I paid for a day pass! I walked out in disgust. Back home with gym bag in 30 degree heat. This is no way to treat loyal customers. It is imperative that staff should be "Better" trained with regard to social skills.

I love the classes with Jody and Raquel that are included in my Healthwise membership. 🫶
It's hard to find a Gym where you can feel included... I suffer from PTSD and it's not easy for me to be in new environments.
Healthwise activities are helping me to get outside my comfort zone and back into a healthy life stile.

Great centre!
All staff members are always very polite, happy and helpful. The gym, changing rooms and showers are always very clean. Lots of classes to choose from. Very nice people attending the gym you can always feel very friendly atmosphere.

On the plus side. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Good teachers. Affordable
On the negative side: not enough classes around lunchtime. Inability to put membership on hold for other than medical reasons. (There used to be spin classes and body conditioning classes at this time)

Elias is a great instructor
Elias is a great instructor, he really pushes you to do your max in his sessions. I currently work out 4 days a week under his supervision and I can honestly say it’s the fittest I’ve been! Highly recommended

Elias is the best fitness manager I’ve…
Elias is the best fitness manager I’ve ever had in my life. I have tried many times to sign up to gyms but I always quit. This is the first time I’ve stayed for a year, 4 days training a week and all of this thanks to Elias and his wonderful classes. He is the best instructor in the gym and many come only for him as we are getting premium services thanks to him. He has changed my life and has inspired me to become a fitness instructor myself.
