Hi there,
I my opinion the Leisure centre at Henley on Thames has to be running in better way.
1.- The gym is dirty under the places where are the equipment to do exercises and the machine has to be clean and good hovering and the the machines.
2.- The clock were 2 now one and is not working, those clock are not expensive I think you have to spend a little money on it.
3.- In the timetable in the apps is writing that the gym is opening at 6 am o'clock to 10pm but we arrive sometimes 6:20 or 6:25 the doors are close they open at 6:30 no one minute before.
4.- The scale that is important in the gym is very old and no working,
This Monday 18 May the gym was not working because of the tree fell down.
It is a pity I saw many times many people going there checking things in the gym but no one pay attention to those things, even the tree they should prevent before things happen, I hope they are going to be more careful when they check things.

Needs updating and cleaning
One ladies shower in the changing room has been out of order for 6 weeks, the showers are always full of hair, the swimming changing rooms are awful and need a total revamp as everywhere is old and full of limescale, the staff are lovely though.

A friendly little gym
A great little gym with friendly front of house. There's enough parking and I've yet to wait for a machine. That said, it could do with some refurbishment as some facilities are showing wear. And of course, pick your hours or risk being inundated by the children from the school next door!

Booking system failure not an isolated one…
the app allowed me to book a swim at a certain time yesterday morning. When I arrived the pool was just about to close. Staff were apologetic and explained the system was having problems and should not have advertised the pool for that slot, nor taken my booking !

Honestly the staff can be great
Honestly the staff can be great. A couple are proper rude frankly... the company itself is the actual problem. Be very careful because they are so ethical they fk you over at every opportunity. Don't do anything online. Don't try and call anyone. Just go in and speak to actual human beings. Otherwise it just doesn't function, accidentally on purpose. The facilities are fine, the classes are phenomenal frankly, if it weren't for said classes I wouldn't have bothered coming back after the BS with the company. Would I advise using it? Yes, just tread carefully figuratively speaking.

Since I joined I have twice booked online for Swim for fitness sessions, both times I received confirmation of the booking. Both times that I arrived at Henley Sports Centre I was told I could not have booked as the Pool was being used for Triathlon training. The Reception staff member acknowledged my booking and said there was a problem with the system. I am really pissed off.

Great gym equipment
Henley leisure centre has a great gym with very good cardio, weights and resistant kit.
The gym could you with a bit more attention to cleaning around and under the kit, but the equipment itself is cleaned regularly.
The changing rooms are ok but the showers leave a lot to be desired, maybe diffent shower heads would help as well as dividers between the showers for a modicum of privacy.
The staff are always friendly

Great gym and staff
Solid gym, chilled atmosphere and plenty of space to workout at the times we go. Staff are lovely and Neelan is legendary. Pool facilities good too - often use the sauna and steam room! Accessible / disabled friendly as gyms go.

The place doesnt offer enough varieties of classes. 2 Yoga classes a week r not enough.Be great to have Taichi, boxing,weight lifting for olders. And a variety of teachers.

Really friendly staff, facilities are cleaned very regularly throughout the day, not too busy - gym has perfect amount of equipment. Lots of variety of gym classes with good atmosphere and made to feel very welcome.
