Went to get my son joined up with this gym in Keynsham and paid 37 pound only to fined out its 15 pound for him as he's 13 not happy at all stay away from this place

Good
After instruction I find it easy to book and now hope to swim more frequently to cure my stiff shoulders. Would have wished for underfloor heating as in Wells, to dry floors off and so make them safer also makes getting dressed a lot easier and quicker.

All was great except too many accounts…
All was great except too many accounts opened and I had to get one closed at the leisure centre. I already had a no member account and it opened a new one despite using the same email address and password.

My daughter and I visited and were greeted by Nicola on the reception.
We were showed around and everything was explained to us in full detail. I cannot thank Nicola enough and because of her, the classes and lovely vibe, I joined. My brother has now joined as well because I said I loved it so much

My child has been doing swimming…
My child has been doing swimming lessons at Better Keynsham for the last 2.5 years. Its within walking distance and there is no where else except if I drive. The lessons are very poor, no consistency, the app which is supposed to chart progress is rarely updated. A few of the coaches shouldn't be working with young children, as they make them jump in at 6ft 6 in from first time they go into the big pool, despite no requirement to do so until much further down the award scheme. This terrified my son who is nervous of going out of his depth so he's lost his confidence yet again. There is no transition between levels or any feedback as they have too many kids so can never remember where they are in regard to ability. They don't respond if you complain. I've finally found private lessons near by, which won't be any more expensive in the long run, as progress is so slow at Better. I say you are 'Better'going elsewhere!

It's a very small gym
It's a very small gym for the price of a normal sized gym, I'm not convinced it's worth the membership, and the day rates are the highest I've seen by about £3.50 a visit.
It's a bit disappointing.
Not sure if it's staffed either.
Compared to my old gym it's very sad.
I thought it recently had an overhaul and more kit, but it doesn't appear that way. Some of the machines have torn padding as well.
Just looks sad and uncared for.
