4 years to fix king hall?!
4years for kings hall? On top of that they discontinue so many parking bays and it’s already a pain to park. Nothing mentioned in the reply about the parking spaces you have taken away from an area that hardly has any. A group of us have been messaging the council as this is not on !

We are sorry to hear you are disappointed that Kings Hall will be closed for such a long period of time.
We are so excited for the works to be completed and whilst we understand your frustration, in order for us to complete the works, Kings Hall will need to be closed for the duration of the renovations.
As part of the works, you can look forward to:
New communal spaces
A new accessible entrance onto Clapton Square, replacing the existing entrance onto Lower Clapton Road
A refurbished pool
A new teaching pool with a movable floor in place of the existing sports hall
All customers whose centre was Kings Hall, have also been upgraded to UK-Wide access at now extra cost so our customers can continue their fitness journey with us.
In reference to the parking - we do not have any control over parking bays, and we understand that you're currently in contact with London Borough of Hackney regarding this.

I endeavoured to renew my Better membership online for Kings Hall Leisure Centre, Hackney, but to no avail.
I was receiving a message both via website and mobile app, as follows:
'Unable to manage your membership at this time.'
Therefore, I sent an email to Better Customer Services explaining the above.
In very good time, I was very delighted to received a reply from Natasha confirming that my Adult Senior Res membership have been renewed to 27 Feb 2027....absolutely FAN-TAS-TIC!!

Not happy with the staff except the male receptionist- his the only one that listens and helps.
Swimming staff start at their own time and finish when they want, a lot of parents have complained and moved to a different centre. Also this centre smells so horrible so Yh that’s my experience I will be leaving soon too!( It’s an everyday situation)

I went for the Healthier Together…
I went for the Healthier Together session from 1pm-2pm and it was cancelled. This was disappointing as I booked it on line. I was looking forward to seeing an instructor for support.

I have had solid support from the staff in the facility whenever they are able to give it. They are patient and accommodating, they have a lot of members and responsibilities, so the fact that they find time to help me and so many others with grace is admirable.

Worst badminton court i’ve ever been in…
Worst badminton court i’ve ever been in London. Low scaffolding and it stinks inside . Very rude staff at front if i mantion one is Asma another i can’t remember. We visited 28th August at 21.40 . Asma and her colleague were rude from the beginning. When i came back after seeing the worst court with low scaffolding they said its playable and no one never complained even tho its full of complaints in google reviews.

Toilet Cleaning
The gym area is nice and quite good, the classes are helpful, but the toilet and bathroom need improvement. The smell is unbearable, I think if a cleaner can go in there on an hourly basis it might help.

I enjoyed family swim for all last…
I enjoyed family swim for all last Sunday but the showers were boiling hot, too hot for my grandkids and I did report it to reception. Thursday fitness swim women was amazing and so relaxing.
