Everything is satisfactory BUT
Everything was totally satisfactory. But one thing in Platinum Jubilee leisure centre, there is no padlock lockers/or better arrangements for disabled people with dementia as it’s not easy for such People to keep using coin or tokes. This is not permanent solution for lockers and it’s not easy for them to keep buying tokens. It’s stressful.

My children have been having swimming…
My children have been having swimming lessons and the progress they have made in a few weeks is outstanding. They love the lessons and the swimming staff and teachers are lovely . Thanks Wendy for overseeing everything. Really good experience

Great addition to the area
The Platinum Jubilee Leisure Centre has been a great addition to the area.
There was a recent technical issue with the virtual Pilates class which staff tried to resolve but I was refunded promptly. I attend the Pilates classes weekly on Tuesdays. I hope that more in-person sessions will become available in the future so that I can attend these if I am unable to make the ones on Tuesday.

Friendly Facility
Iv been a member for a couple of weeks, iv found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome.
Iv been using the gym which is clean with modern equipment iv had no issue getting on the machines I want to use.
I have also booked Badminton, I liked that the sports hall is fairly private so you don't feel you are being watched

Staff Reluctant To Help
I visited the centre twice to enquire about swimming lessons for my daughter. Unfortunately, on both occasions, the customer service left a lot to be desired.
During my second visit, the receptionist seemed reluctant to help and initially suggested that I come back later to speak to someone else. When I explained that this was my second visit and that I had already experienced poor customer service, her attitude improved, and she became more helpful, providing straightforward answers to my questions.
It’s disappointing that it took raising my concerns before I received the assistance I was looking for. I hope the centre can improve the consistency of its customer service, as a more welcoming and proactive approach would make a much better experience for visitors.

Reception staff rarely greet guests with a smile, which is disappointing and not what you would expect.
The café food is overpriced and not enjoyable — I ordered a chicken wrap that was cold, poorly prepared, and contained large, tough pieces of chicken that were difficult to chew.
On a positive note, the swimming pool is nice and well maintained.

The staff seem friendly and very…
The staff seem friendly and very helpful and the facilities are clean and working properly. I don’t like the “cashless only” policy as I leave my cards at home and don’t have payment on the phone. The main problem happened today as I used the pool for the first time. I needed to buy a token for a locker but its card payment only so one of the staff gave me one to help. I put my things in and shut the door then realised I’d still got my tee shirt on😅. I reopened the door and the token dropped into the box. I explained to a lovely member of staff who got me another token. I chose another locker, put the token in and it just fell through into the box! The staff member looked at the locker and she suspected this one was faulty. Next token and locker worked fine! It just seems crazy to cause this amount of stress for a 30p token so why oh why not make them reusable are put the price up by 30p to cover costs. Apart from that 5 stars!

mixed swimming pool
I did not like the mixed swimming pool area changing room and lack of personal shower cubicles; because of this I am seriously considering changing to Nuffield Health sports and leisure or Pure Gym

For swimming room Locker's monney is not refundable. Every time buying coin from the mechine. All other centers are not like this. This is council owend its should same like other leisure center

Not good, waited for years for the new leisure center and I’m not happy with car parking fees locker fees that are outrageous, equipment not working and I believe customer service needs a customer services!

I am so disappointed about this leisure…
I am so disappointed about this leisure centre’s performance!!!especially because its a brand new building…..i am a member for about two weeks,i paid in full for the services and facilities of this point but it seems like the employees are trying to save energy and money for the council.How is possible for a brand new building and everything inside to have ever sauna or steam room broken every week or more than that???so what i am paying for???i was waiting more than two years for this leisure centre to be open and now?…..very poor service!…i did sent an email to the council saying that they have issues with the sauna and steam room but didn’t receive anything!….it seems like they like to take money from our pockets only for pictures and stories,nothing else i”am afraid.
However,if they don’t change anything in the next teo weeks,then i will make an appeal to the Customer Service Protection Department because is not fair at all.
