BetterHelp is the Best Therapy around the world
BetterHelp is the real deal! A person to me will get the therapy. I have been in therapy for many years and BetterHelp has the best package. First of all a person gets a one on one weekly. If the individual needs anything non emergency he/she can message their therapist anytime. I have received worksheets to help me understand what I am going thru or what I have been through. I journal almost every day where I can take it from my head and put it on paper. It's like telling a story about yourself. There are also group sessions to take and share your story or just listen. Lastly they have a financial aid program.

I matched quickly and easily with an exceptional therapist. She listens, assigns homework and tasks, and offers constructive feedback.
Awful customer service and therapist
Woeful, absolutely woeful customer service. They don’t seem to read your message so how can their solution fit your problem? Maybe they don’t have enough customer service staff. Trying to get a real solution out of them is absolutely painful.
I also had a very poor therapist who seemed more interested in performative note-taking than in listening, and despite her extensive notes she seemed to forget whole sessions. She also had no depth and came across judgemental.
I also don’t like the rigidity of the one session per week billing setup: geared to maximise their profit, not user benefit.
I’m a huge proponent of therapy, but there is no chance of me using this service again, unfortunately.

Set up is easy...it can be a royal pain finding appointments. The first 3 I selected had to cancel due to "availability" or illness so I had to keep migrating. The general standard of the therapists is towards the lower end. You are endlessly send reminders about appointments. one you decide upon a therapist you often find that there next availability is ten days away. AND I have been charged an additional £25 for something even after subscribing (I got an apology and refund for this part).....cannot recommend. Cancelled my membership within days of starting it...a lot of money unused and wasted

The Better Help app is very accessible
The Better Help app is very accessible, they send you reminders via email if they have issues processing your payment or when you have a video session coming up, and they try to make sure that you are getting the most out of your experience.

I give them 5 stars because of the quality of the therapists and the different groups and classes they offer at a reasonable rate. They are the best. The only thing is that you have to be careful about them charging your credit card even though you did not participate in an individual session, classes or groups. I still have to ask for my refund.
Therapist was awesome But…
They found a therapist for me quickly and she was awesome, that’s the good. The bad, they do not take insurance at least mine did not. The billing made it sound like it was going to be so much per visit, so I believed if I didn’t have a visit I would not be charged. Well I was charged anyway. My biggest complaint is that I tried contacting customer service through the app and by phone and I was unable to reach anyone and no one called me back. They are also a bit pushy on the sales one you say your interested
I’m so happy with BetterHelp
I’m so happy with BetterHelp! I’m so glad that I found this and decided to check it out! My therapist is amazing and BetterHelp is amazing too. You can journal everyday and believe me I do!
They steal your money
Edit - after receiving a refund.
They lock your medical history behind a paywall. I do not understand how that is legal but it is entirely unethical.
I will be complaining to the ACCC because imagine visiting a dr, paying and then the dr advising you need to pay again to see your own records??!!
Disgraceful company.

Unauthorised charges
Charged £180 for therapy for 4 sessions to try it out, not agreeing to any subscription service. When I tried to cancel they informed me that my other 2 sessions would no longer be valid. Therefore only allowing me to have 2 out of the 4 sessions that I paid for. I could only get these other 2 sessions if I paid for another month which is £180. This is completely unjustified and not what I signed up for. I am confused as to how this a fair system to run to “test” out this type of therapy. You’re basically roped into it and cannot use all your “test” sessions unless you subscribe permanently.
Very confused and let down

Best for remote therapy
I really do appreciate a one the go app that allows me to have access to therapy wherever I am, especially being a college student without transportation. Better Help has really opened my eyes to my problems, and just talking to someone about them really is helpful. Even if I don’t have an appointment, the quick, easy text access let’s me able to talk to my therapist.
absolutely horrible and scammy.
absolutely horrible and scammy.
they will offer lower rates the more you decline and the process is so unprofessional, not to mention their couples therapy side of the company different name and even worse. don’t waste your time.

Great customer service
Great customer service, quick to help. My first therapist absolutely was no match for me so when I decided to try and switch to another therapist it was fast and easy. No questions asked. It helped my anxiety to not have to stress about why I was changing therapists. 10/10 recommend to all of my friends and family.

I've doing alot of searching for a good therapist dealing with my problems over the years its been a journey, but betterhelp is a great source of finding a great therapist for you have alot of options to choose from. And this website helped me get that help i really need to find myself.
Better help has a wonderful…
Better help has a wonderful questionnaire that allows them to assign a therapist that specializes in your needs. When I was looking for a therapist, I was overwhelmed by how many options there were abd who to choose. With Better Help, I did not have to choose. They chose for me based on my responses to the questionnaire. Another good thing, if you are not pleased with the therapist, you can request a different one.
Better help has been the best company
Better help has been the best company I have worked with. I was matched with a therapist immediately and she has been amazing. Better Help is affordable and works with my insurance. I highly encourage anyone who is looking for a safe space to find help to try Better Help.
Betterhelp's name is 100% Accurate
Betterhelp's name is 100% Accurate, I feel like they dont advertise all the features they have which are awesome.
It's set-up so you can do almost like intense or in-patient therapy daily, with workshops, and group therapy sessions. And/Or you can just like chat your therapist, and send them updates about your life and issues you are having.
Also, there is a mood tracker, a journal, and a goal setter tracker for therapy as well. There is a lot in the app/a lot to the service than expected.

I didn’t know what to think and I love everything about the therapist, platform ease of use and most important convenience. Don’t wait until tomorrow find a therapist today and start getting your mind in better shape!
