The removal went fairly smoothly, other than the removal men saying they couldn’t lift a wardrobe into my new house , which they’d already carried out of my old house unless I helped lift it.
However a week later , I discovered they had ripped the wallpaper In my old property on the stairs.
I emailed Webbes and they said it was too late to complain.
I wouldn’t use them ever again, and certainly wouldn’t recommend them, as I thought there attitude was poor and they couldn’t care less once they’d done the job.

Brilliant service until they dropped a £300 surround sound speaker and admitted liability. But because we didn’t take the insurance only got £40.00 buy the insurance or get another quote . Terrible office service.

We used these guys on 9th April Burton on Trent. They were absolutely brilliant! Very fast, organised and careful. They truly went above and beyond , I can't thank you enough for making our move so easy and relaxed .

Friendly efficient service from initial contact through to loading and unloading on removal day. The guys, led by Matt, did a very efficient job in good humour. Would certainly recommend and would use Webbe’s again.

Would not recommend.
They broke and damaged furniture. Lost screws and bolts of items.
Some items have gone missing.
Smoking in the van with all our belongings in there.
Do not recommend and would not use again.

Highly recommend this company, the process was great from start to finish. On site survey to assess the move requirements, quote received quickly.
On move day the team arrived early, very respectful of both the house we were moving from and to.
Carpet protectors used throughout.
Reasonably priced and accommodating due to the access constraints at our new property.

I wouldn’t use again. Paid extra for them to take down and rebuild furniture and have found so many parts missing from bed, screws missing, wardrobes wobble so much they were chucked together. Damaged walls and damaged wardrobes.

Brilliant from start to finish. The quote was given in a very professional and friendly manner and was competitive. Debbie in the office was extremely helpful with my frequent enquiries about the date availability.
The guys arrived bang on time and were polite, friendly and worked really hard and efficiently. They were careful with everything and put our belongings where we asked. I can’t fault them. Highly recommended! Thank you!

We moved on the hottest day of 2024 so far and the three chaps didn’t complain about the heat at all - in fact we had to insist they had cold drinks as they just kept on working. They arrived just before 8.30 and fully cleared a 4 bedrooms, three storey property & garage before 11.00. They arrived at the new property long before we had the keys, with no stress about having to wait. They then set us up in our new home - another 4 bedrooms & three storeys - with happy banter and a pleasant, cheerful approach to the job.

There is absolutely nothing to fault - from phoning to book for a quote, the quote being carried out and then the service on the day. Webbes aren’t the cheapest removable company but also not the most expensive either. But, for us, they were worth every penny.

The units are always clean and tidy and easily accessible. Carl is always on hand with banter and advice and a helping hand with carrying things to and from the unit. It’s a very family oriented environment, Carl has even watched my little girl in reception while I’ve nipped to my unit to get something. Would recommend storing your things here. Very safe but relaxed vibe.

FAO of manager Edward, I just wanted to let you know about our positive experience with your removal guys, it was excellent. For saying that moving is one of the most stressful things to do, our 4 chaps, John, Jamie, Paul and Ant were exceptional in alleviating the stress from the whole experience. We had one of the most difficult garden aspects for them to work with and the house isn't easy to manoeuvre around either and yet they moved everything without one single breakage or scrape. They were on time, worked unbelievably hard, were super nice and helpful, nothing was too much trouble even when I changed my mind about moving some furniture around. Would not hesitate at all in using Webbes and asking for these chaps again! Thank you so much guys.

I moved into a house in Belper where the previous owners had used Webbe removals to move out. Webbes had torn and dented the kitchen vinyl floor when moving the fridge/freezer. The best they would do was glue down the tear leaving the 2 rows of dents visible. Surely such an experienced firm should be able to move a fridge without damaging the floor? I will never use them and I can't recommend them

We were very happy with the removal provided by Bewebbe. The staff were friendly, careful and efficient. Ian John and James did a great job. I would recommend to others.

Really efficient removal service with a very friendly team who came to help us move. Charlie and crew were very mindful of our belongings and had us moved out and into our new home in minimal time. Possibly not the cheapest service out there but well worth the money as it was a 10/10 service.

I recently moved from the east midlands to the south coast using b.e. webbe removals. From start to finish they were exceptional. the removal men worked efficiently and handled my house move with ease and confidence. The local removal companies used to assist were also fantastic. the whole move went smoothly over 2 days and i cannot praise them enough. would highly recommend them.

I moved from Derbyshire to Lincolnshire at the beginning of February 2022. Due to the distance involved, it was deemed necessary to make this a 2 day removal. The team from B E Webbe came on 31st Jan and did a wonderful job of loading up my belongings. They were a delight - polite, courteous, efficient, helpful, complimentary about my packing skills. Two of the team drove the van over to Lincolnshire that evening, informing me that they would be assisted the next day by members of the Barnes of Lincoln team (a company with a good reputation). The Webbe team arrived promptly the next morning and got on with the job. When the Barnes team arrived, things went rapidly downhill. They were sloppy, clumsy, and showed no respect for my belongings whatsoever. They damaged a very much loved item of furniture quite obviously in front of me. When I pointed this out to the Webbe team, they were extremely apologetic and told me to report it to Head Office. They did comment that they didn't like having to work with other teams because they never showed the same amount of care. When I reported the damage to Head Office, they were extremely slow about communicating with me. I sent photos of the damage and explained that the item was not replaceable as it was an old Habitat unit and part of a full set of furniture. It would not be possible to repair it so I asked for a gesture payment as compensation. In the meantime, I discovered further damage to another item of furniture. This one was replaceable, but one of a set of two, now not available in the same colour. They refused to pay anything for this and offered me £50 in compensation for the Habitat item. This was on a payment to them of over £2,500 for the removal. To add insult to injury, it took them 4 months to pay out. Their communication skills leave a lot to be desired. My warning is - if it's a one day removal, you may get lucky and have the same team I did at the Derby end. If it's an extended move, don't use B E Webbe - because you have no idea who will be abusing your furniture at the other end - and with no come-back. Extremely disappointed.

We used Webbes to move from Swadlincote to Doveridge. We cannot thank and praise them highly enough. Steve and team were absolutely brilliant. Everything was transported safely, efficiently and intact. The guys were friendly and obliging. They also went above and beyond to deliver the highest level of customer service. We can’t recommend them enough!

We had a big move from Derby to Devon so I gained several quotes and B E Webb we’re very reasonably priced for such a big job compared to other big firms. This move involved loading on removal day, driving down to Devon, then an overnight stay for the driver then an unload the next morning at our new house. Unfortunately for them they encountered a problem on the morning of our move whereby one of their drivers had to self isolate and they were struggling to find a spare driver for the job. They pulled out all the stops to ensure we had our items by the following day as planned. This involved loading smaller lorries to ensure our now sold house was empty and ready for the new owners, then they had to transfer our items to the main lorry at base and hold it there until a driver was located. Luckily a HGV driver was sourced who drove through the night to our new property then the following morning a local removal firm was used to assist in unloading the lorry. It was a huge mission, headache and probably a financial loss to them in making this move happen as arranged, but they really did everything in their power to sort this Covid related set back. The only feedback I have is that the communication about the initial problem was absent, I had to call them to find out where my lorry was, sat ready to go. They wanted to find another driver before breaking the news to us but communication to the customer is always key. Thanks to all teams involved who worked so hard loading and unloading several times with no damage to any of our goods! Highly recommend

I moved house February 2020, unfortunately the quality of service I received didn’t match the outstanding reputation of B E Webbe Removals. The removal men didn’t follow B E Webbe’s own Covid guidance by not wearing face coverings.

Unfortunately the television was damaged beyond repair during the move, along with a box of crockery that was smashed, relocated to another box and hidden in the garage. The customer service and support I received from B E Webbe upon notifying them of the damage was inflammatory claiming there was nothing wrong with the television even though the screen was cracked. I purchased the additional insurance available, however I was informed I wasn’t allowed to submit a claim to the insurance company directly that it had to be handled by B E Webbe only, which is contrary to the insurance policy. Thankfully I was able to submit a claim myself which has been resolved by the insurers.

I completely understand things can be damaged during a house move, I don’t understand how it’s considered acceptable to try to hide that fact and to be obstructive when trying to resolve concerns.
