I moved house February 2020, unfortunately the quality of service I received didn’t match the outstanding reputation of B E Webbe Removals. The removal men didn’t follow B E Webbe’s own Covid guidance by not wearing face coverings.

Unfortunately the television was damaged beyond repair during the move, along with a box of crockery that was smashed, relocated to another box and hidden in the garage. The customer service and support I received from B E Webbe upon notifying them of the damage was inflammatory claiming there was nothing wrong with the television even though the screen was cracked. I purchased the additional insurance available, however I was informed I wasn’t allowed to submit a claim to the insurance company directly that it had to be handled by B E Webbe only, which is contrary to the insurance policy. Thankfully I was able to submit a claim myself which has been resolved by the insurers.

I completely understand things can be damaged during a house move, I don’t understand how it’s considered acceptable to try to hide that fact and to be obstructive when trying to resolve concerns.

We had to go to the Ombudsman because one worker did a lot of damage to our possessions, we made a complaint about him. We felt really let down by them. All our things were put in one room and stacked. Furniture which had been left to me by my Grandad was scratched. Picture frames completely trashed. I would never give them work again. If you have possessions you love think seriously before giving them the job.

We used BE Webbe to move our furnishings down from Scotland to Derbyshire on 25/26 April 2019. From the initial enquiry to actual delivery it has been a pleasure using this company. They are extremely reasonable, polite and highly professional. We would like to say a massive thanks to Charlie and Steve - nothing was too much trouble and they handled all the heavy items like 2 x 20 year olds! Nothing was damaged or scratched in the process. If the Managing Director is reading this, please give them an extra bonus in next months pay! A truly excellent company, well done!

We moved home on 1st March in all the snow from "the beast from the east". We didn't expect the removals to turn up in all that snow but true to their word they did. The guys were friendly and very hard working. I would recommend this firm to anyone, they were fantastic. Thank you so much.

Decided to use BE Webbe for our house move and we were very impressed by the service and dedication. On the day of the move the movers arrived on time and introduced themselves before loading our belongings. Even though it was raining and they got soaked, they continued loading our belongings.

Excellent service, very good price and not one item was damaged. Highly recommend BE Webbe to anyone.
