After visiting a number of new developments we stopped at Bewley site.
The quality of building, generous room sizes, high ceilings and outstanding customer service helped us to choose the house of our dreams. After we moved in we found just a very minor snagging issues which were resolved within hours
Everything works like a well oiled machine. A month and a half in we just falling more in love with the area, our warm spacious house and fresh air. We would recommend Bewley to every new house buyer.

Moving home is stressful! But the Bewley team did everything they could to get us into our forever home. The whole team treated the journey in such a personal way. You can tell they all care, they're building homes and not just houses. And on that...couldn't be happier with our beautifully finished home! We all love it and feel so fortunate to call it our own. Thanks Bewley for all the support you gave us to get here! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!! 😁

We moved in to Elizabeth Park in Hersham 2.5 years ago. Ever since they took our money the post-purchase customer service has been atrocious. We have neighbours who have had snagging lists that still haven’t been completed, roof leaks and to top it off they left the development months ago and haven’t finished it. The roads have not had they top layer added. There are broken curb stones where their site vehicles trashed them and no contact from them at all despite asking for updates numerous times. The estate is a mess. DO NOT BUY A BEWLEY HOME. You will regret it. All they want is your money and then you won’t hear from them.

We are really pleased to have finally got into our new home. We have had snags which is to be expected but they are being dealt with and we do feel confident that if anything else arises then we will be looked after.
We had fantastic service from the sales team in Faringdon so we cannot fault them. I’ve read reviews about poor standards in showhomes but actually that’s one of the things to convince us to go with Bewley the showhomes in Faringdon are immaculate, we did visit other house builders and couldn’t say the same for them all.

We had been looking at loads of new builds around our area all different builders and then we came across Bewley homes. Wow, from the moment we stepped into the sales office we were treated brilliantly, no pressure. The show home was stunning and very impressive. Surprisingly to us we could also get the same finish as standard. All other builders were just add ons and seemed to cut corners.
So we reserved our plot and the fantastic service continued all the way to finally having our keys in our hands. Nothing was to much trouble for the team who went above and beyond to help get us our stunning home. We couldn't be happier. Customer service is also fantastic. You won't be disappointed if you buy through bewley. Debbie, Danielle and Steve come highly recommended to guide you through the process.

Overall fantastic though intense pressure by Bewley directors to complete to meet their sales targets plus poor after sales rectification of snagging. Otherwise an amazing development with well spaced attractive, individual homes with open views.

Big thanks to Leah Blair in the sales office from Ash Lodge Park, in Ash! From day one of our interaction, she made things 100 times easier for me! Her excellent communication skills, attention to detail and awesome customer service made the whole house building process from being a stressful know one to a seamlessly easy process! She always kept me informed with the progress of the house and guided me to the next steps.

We bought our house from Bewley Homes and couldn't be happier

This development, although complete yet not fully occupied continues to impress, as was evident through Send village’s first Open Gardens event this weekend.
Where there had been opposition from local residents to the initial proposal of Clockbarn Way, having the opportunity to visit one of the gardens, brought forth such comments as ‘we didn’t even know it was here’ showing it to be unobtrusive and blending with the rest of the village. ‘Isn’t it lovely’ was frequently heard & ‘how well designed’ another comment.
An award is certainly due to whoever at Bewley initiated and planned the layout emphasising God’s design that family and community are the best way to live and creating themselves a design that naturally lends itself to this way of life.
All the residents have come to appreciate the sense of community growing here through several events as they have moved in, proving when we live and work according to God’s mandates we flourish, even in life’s stressful situations.
There is still one house for sale, come and join us.

Some of our experience with Bewley was good, some not quite so much. The on site staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, we were always met with a smile, they did all they could to make sure our purchase went as smoothly as it could within the limits of there authority. We were some of the last to move onto the development and most of the contractors and site workers were packing up and getting ready to move onto the next development. This meant that some of the snagging issues we had were dealt with quickly but others are still ongoing.
The house was in an area we wanted to live and at a price we were prepared to pay but it was virtually the last one to be released so we had to take what was available. It seems to us that the planning for the property was a bit of an after thought and there are some issues that should have been sorted while it was still lines on paper. For example parking and boundary lines.
Having said that, we are happy with the house, the finish, the standard of fixtures and fittings and the general location and look of the development.
There has been much follow up from Bewley Customer Services since we moved in, they are trying their best to resolve our outstanding issues but the issue is more with the contractors not coming back to do the repairs.
This was our first new build purchase but we wouldn’t have a problem buying another Bewley home or recommending anyone else to buy one.

Truly Awful- cannot be trusted

Purchased a home off plan, the home in question on all marketing and legal documents showed the location of the play park near to but with the house not overlooking the park. 6 months after completing and being issued the keys, Bewley have now moved the location of the play park! Despite numerous emails nothing is being done to rectify the situation- bearing mind the the site is not yet finished and workers are on-site daily they are refusing to move the park!, I was asked to trust the plan that bewley provided- I even had to sign the plan on purchasing and now with all that they can apparently move the playpark to a completely different location! There is also no planning permission for this new park location. A fact which has been reported to the council as breach of planning.

I was NOT SOLD a house overlooking a child’s play park NOR I AGREE TO PURCHASE a house overlooking a play park.

Then after taking my money apparently bewley can change the whole development layout even after asking me to sign the plan used to advertise my plot! How is this fair???

I never would have purchased my home if it were advertised as overlooking a play park and now cannot enjoy the use of my garden or even have the doors to my living room open in the summer months!

My partner and I cannot begin to say how happy we have been with our experience buying a Bewley home.
From the generous sized rooms to the amazing sales team Steve, Danielle, and Debbie.Their excellent customer service made the whole buying and moving in process run smoothly.
Bewley have developed/created a lovely street layout of high quality designed houses.
Neil the site manager also has been fantastic.Nothing to much trouble.

What attracted us to this development and builder, was the quality of the show home, the floor plan with it's generous sized rooms, and the exterior with the brick and architectural details. This made Bewley stand out compared to other housing developments in the area. David and Debbie, the Bewley sales team at Marlborough Gardens, were wonderful during the whole house buying process for us. They were able to work within our budget and Help to Buy to get us our first home. We experienced some delays with the build, due to Covid, material and labor shortages, but the sales team kept us informed and updated us on the progress. We were also able to visit the plot multiple times throughout the build to see our new home develop. Once we moved in Bewley where quick to fix most of the snags, there were only a few things that took some time to rectify. We had our own contractors install the first floor flooring and bathroom mirrors, and both remarked how straight the walls were and the quality they don't often see in new builds. We're looking forward to many years of happy living in our home.

Buying our new home from Bewley has been a great experience and we love living in our beautiful new home. From choosing our home to moving in was an easy experience with Jemma from the sales and marketing suit. We love living here even though the building is on going but all the builders and staff are amazing always keeping us informed and letting us know of what’s happening next. The build of our house is also really well done and good quality. We would recommend to everyone. Not only the home but the place too.
